教材的内容介绍了一位普通志愿者Timoteo 为了救其他人的生命,甘愿在艰苦的环境下充当路标的伟大事迹。
学习本文可以让学生掌握新的词汇、短语,提高阅读水平,同时培养学生对社会的责任感以及奉献社会、回报社会的精神,使他们认识到只有通过自己的工作改造社会,未来的生活才会更美好;也让学生明白平凡的志愿者们所做的不平凡的贡献,培养他们正确的世界观、人生观和价值观。

是在课本课文和拓展阅读之后的知识点,语法和写作的学习和练习。
主要任务是通过对知识点的学习,语法的复习来熟练掌握本话题的表达法,熟练掌握求职信的写法。
(二)教学目标以学生为主体,培养学生的实际运用能力,培养创新能力,本课的主旨是使学生熟练掌握相关表达,在此基础上让学生用所学表达完成写作任务。
(三)学习重点1.与工作和求职有关的词汇和重点句式2.一般过去式,过去进行时和过去完成时的复习3.求职信的写作练习(四)学习难点求职信的写作练习是学生写作方面的重点,自我推荐方面的选材和高级表达是难点,时态的辨析方面也是学生难以判断的二.学情分析高二学生具备了一定的基础知识的储备,通过导学案的帮助,预习的效果很好,上课的进度能适度加快。
求职信这种应用文对学生还是有一定的吸引力,由于课堂容量有限,写作训练的修改润色的工作要延伸到课后。
三.设计理念本课以学习和及时反馈为主,边学边练,贯穿说和读。

在这堂课的教学设计中,我充分利用多媒体技术,使用图片,音频,视频等力图使教学变得生动有趣,同时也使师生间的互动增多,让学生们在相互交流相互帮组的条件下得到最佳的学习效果。
这节课通过看图回答问题,讨论,演讲,阅读以及完成阅读任务等环节,不光可以使学生掌握本个模块以下的新单词,短语,语言点,既本节课的知识目标。
