第一课时:Let’s learn Let’s do第六单元的教学内容都是围绕“farm”这个主题展开的。
主要包括有关农场上的动物、农作物名词及其复数形式的表达方式,以及语言结构:What are they?Are they…What are these/those?Are these/those…?How many…are there?的学习和应用。
教学目标:知识技能目标:1. 能够听、说、记读本课时的主要单词:hen, sheep, cow , horse, goat , lamb2. 听懂指示语,并按要求做出相应的动作,如:Milk a cow情感文化目标:1.能以得体的方式与人交际:询问名称和数量。
2.动物是我们的好朋友,我们要爱护动物主动询问、合作、沟通教学重、难点:本课时需要重点掌握农场上常见的牲畜的名称。
难点是“horse”与”house”的发音区别:“how many”与“how much”含义的差别以及“lamb”的发音。
课前准备:CAI。
教师准备录音机及录音带。
学生准备1—6张词卡。
如果条件允许,学生可以带相关的玩具。
教学步骤:热身(Warm-up)日常口语练习:What’s the weather like today? Is it warm?Oh, what a lovely day? Let’s go to the farm![设计意图]:教师由天气自然转入本单元话题。
预习:(Preview)学生听Let’s do的录音,教师根据录音做出相应的动作;学生再听录音,同时模仿教师的动作。
教师在黑板上画些农场动物的简笔画,操练句子“Are they……?”[设计意图] 预习环节的设计,为课中做游戏做准备,也为第二课时句子习打基础。
新课呈现(Presentation)Let’s learn(1) 教师出示农场动物单词卡片,对学生说:Look at these animals: where do they live? They live on the farm. 让学生整体感知所学内容。

二、学生分析:本班学生大部分学生能端正学习态度,课堂上能专心听讲,积极思考,大胆回答问题。
个别学生的学习兴趣较浓,课内外都善于用英语交际,能够养成良好的学习习惯。
由于英语教材极具特色,趣味性强,所以大部分同学能够积极参与,愉快地学习。
三、教学设计思想
本班大部分学生课堂积极活跃,善于动脑筋、动口,表现欲望强烈。
根据本课的特点,从培养学生的语言能力入手,鼓励学生学会询问农场牲畜的句型。
激起学生使用英语进行简单交际的欲望。
通过group discussion等活动激发学生学习积极性;通过层层深入的学习活动,帮助学生利用已获的知识,合理地整合新旧语言材料,培养学生的思维与使用英语的能力。

Step 1、Warm-up
A: Greetings (Free talk)
T: Good morning. My name is Zhang Yanni. You can call me Miss Zhang.
Nice to meet you.
S: Nice to meet you , too.
T: Do you like animals? I love animals very much. What animals do you like? ( 引导学生把所学过的动物单词用英文表达出来,学生一边说动物,教师一边在黑板上把早准备好,在黑板上翻转的动物图反正过来)
S: cat, ducks, chicken, rabbit, fish…
B. Sing a song:
T: Listen to the song and you’ll get the answer.(If you can sing it, just sing together.)…学生听歌曲
T: Old MacDonald’s farm is very big. On his farm, he has many animals. What animals are they? Look!
Step 2、Presentation(Go to the farm)
(1)T: What animals can you hear on Old MacDonald’s farm? Let’s talk in your group.(让学生在小组里讨论,在歌曲里还听到了什么动物,从而引出新单词)
(2)T: What are they? They are goats and sheep.(引出新单词并把新动物的卡片的正面翻转,把单词在四线格上板书)
(3)T: Let’s read the new words.(让学生进行认读,教师可以将一些发音规律,帮助学生记忆单词。
如:ee在sheep中发[i:],oa在goat中发[eu])
(4)T: There is not only a goat and a sheep. There are so many goats and sheep.(把更多的山羊和绵羊图片放在黑板上,并且在sheep和goat旁边用不同颜色的粉笔写出复数的形式)
(5)T: What is it? (举出单数的山羊和绵羊)引导学生回答:It’s a goat. It’s a sheep. What are they? (举出复数的山羊和绵羊)引导学生用复数回答: They are goats/sheep.(注意学生是否回答正确)
(6)T: There are so many goat’s baby and sheep’s baby on MacDonald’s farm. What are they? They are lambs.(翻转小羊羔图片,并把复数lambs 先板书, 然后让学生们根据复数的变化规律回答出它的单数形式是什么,引导学生lamb的元音发音)What’s this? Ss: It’s a lamb.并进行分小组朗读。
(7).T: Look at these lovely chickens. Where are their mothers? Oh, hens are
here. (把母子的图片翻转过来,并把复数hens板书,然后让学生们根据复数的变化规律回答出它的单数形式)two hens, three hens, What about one _____?
Ss: hen (板书,引导学生元音e的发音是[e],并且用句型What are they? They are hens.进行问答练习)
T: Do you like milk. Where does the milk come from? It comes from the cows. If I choose the right picture, you say cow, cow, cow loudly. If I choose the wrong one, you say no, no, no. (教师先选马的图片,学生可以很快的意识到是错误的,再选正确的,板书单词引导学生学会cow的发音)T: What are they? Ss: They are cows.(选学生把单词的复数形式拼读出来)
(8): The last one. What are they? They are horses.(翻转图片,板书复数形式,引导学生horse的元音发音,并说出单数形式,但是教师注意让学生们知道它的发音很不同)T: It is a horse. They are horses.
Step 3、Practice
看课件,听单词并拼读单词
看谁反应快:练习时选出一种动物,当老师举起手指,学生们根据老师举出的手指数,说出单词的单数和复数形式。
例如:hen或hens
猜拳:根据老师给出的课件,两个学生猜拳,全班同学齐声问What are they?或What is this?猜赢的有分加,输了的要回答,They are…或It’s …回答正确也可加分。
T: Let’s watch the MTV and do after it.(看课件Le t’s do,并让学生发挥自己的创意做动作,进行小组的比赛,看谁做的最像)
请一位同学拿一张卡片(复数形式的图片)站在前面,不让全班看到正面是什么,其他人用Are they…?来猜图片内容。
猜错了,该同学要说:No,they aren’t. 然后猜错的同学可以反问那卡片的同学:What are they?拿起卡片的也要回答。
但是如果猜对了,说:Yes, they are.
Step 4. Sum up
Group work(小组讨论本节课所学到的知识,并且请个别组阐述出总结到的知识)
Step 5.Closing
T: Today we make a trip to Old MacDonald’s farm. We learn lot. I hope we can have another trip to OM’s farm again.
