• 印第安人传说，大峡谷是在一次洪水中形 成。当时上帝化人类为鱼鳌，始幸免于难。 因此当地的印第安人至今仍不吃鱼鲜。实 际上，刻凿大峡谷的工作，并非一朝一夕 之功，而是经历了几十亿年的漫长岁月， 而且至今犹未停歇，直至永远。人类不能 觉察每天镌刻的进度，但时间的演进，却 显示了令人不能置信的伟观。
Formation
• As to the legend of Indian, the Grand Canyon was formed during a flood .Then the God turned the human into fish so that they survived. Therefore, the local Indians still didn’t eat fish. In fact, the shaping of the Grand Canyon,is not a short span of time, but a long period of billions of years, and can still be relented until forever. Humans can not perceive engraved on the progress every day, but the evolution of the time is unbelieved.

It is 446 km in length, is one of the world's longest canyons. The Canyon is 6-28 kilometers wides on the top, the deepest place is 1800 meters. The bottom surface of the water is less than 1,000 meters wide .Most of the rocks are red.
