The Mid-Autumn Festival is an important holiday in China. Most Chinese families celebrate it.
It is always in September or October. On that day, family members get together and have a big dinner. They enjoy nice food and drinks.
After dinner, people usually watch the Mid-Autumn Festival Gala on TV. People also eat moon cakes, enjoy the full moon and tell the story of Chang’e.
They play a game called “trick or treat” at Halloween. They knock on people’s d_o_o_rs_ and shout “trick or treat”. Usually they can get some candies as a t_re_a_t_. If not, they can play a t_ri_c_k on them.
