2023年上海中考英语真题作文范文

2023年上海中考英语真题作文范文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Awesome Summer VacationWow, where do I even start? This was the best summer vacation ever! I had so much fun and did so many cool things. You're probably going to be really jealous when I tell you all about it. Get ready!First up, my family and I went on an amazing trip to Hainan Island for two whole weeks! We stayed in this huge resort right on the beach. The ocean was bright blue and the sand was perfectly white and soft. I spent hours every day swimming, building sandcastles, and looking for cool shells. One time, I even saw a little crab scuttling along the shoreline! The resort had tons of other awesome stuff too. There were like five different pools, including one indoors and one with these crazy waterslides. I went down the waterslides about a million times. My mom had to practically drag me away because I loved them so much. There was also a mini golf course, a rock climbing wall, and an arcade with laser tag and virtual realitygames. Honestly, I could have just stayed at the resort the whole trip and been perfectly happy. But we also left the resort quite a bit to explore the rest of the island. We went on a jeep safari into the tropical rainforest one day. Our guide told us all about the plants and animals that live there. We saw these crazy-looking black monkeys swinging from the trees. I also got to hold a massive snake! It was scary at first but also kind of cool.Another day, we visited an underground river cave that was full of stalagmites and stalactites. We had to take a little boat through the cave's waterways to see all the rock formations. Some of them looked like curtains or chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. Our tour guide said the cave was millions of years old! In other sections, the ceiling opened up and you could see bright blue water and tree roots poking through the rocks above. It felt like we were in another world down there. My very favorite excursion though was going snorkeling at this awesome coral reef. I had never been snorkeling before, but the instructors taught me how to use the gear properly and I picked it up pretty quickly. Under the water's surface was the most vibrant, colorful ecosystem I had ever seen! There were schools of neon fish swimming every which way, forests ofswaying plant life in purples and greens, and coral formations in every shape and size you could imagine. A massive sea turtle even swam right by me at one point! I felt like I was breathing underwater in some kind of alien ocean world. It sounds silly, but snorkeling at the reef kind of made me want to be a marine biologist when I grow up so I can study and protect these incredible underwater environments. While the Hainan trip was probably the biggest highlight, I did tons of fun stuff at home in Shanghai too over the summer. A few times a week, my parents would take me and my little brother to different parks around the city. We would have picnics, fly kites, ride bikes, or just run around on the playgrounds. One of the parks had these awesome giant toy dinosaurs that we loved climbing all over. Another one had a mini amusement park with a little rollercoaster, tea cups, and bumper cars. Going to the park was the perfect way to get some sunshine and fresh air in between my occasional indoor video game marathons. On rainy days, we would go to museums or trampoline parks instead. I really loved the Natural History Museum because they had so many cool animal skeletons, fossils, and exhibits about dinosaurs and ancient life. The trampolining place was a blast too - you could just bounce around for hours in different roomsfull of trampolines on the floors and walls. My legs were so sore after those visits, but in a good way.Towards the end of the summer, my aunt and uncle visited from the U.S. and brought my cousin with them. Having another kid around made everything twice as fun! We spent a weekend at Happy Valley amusement park riding all the biggest rollercoasters and trying out the carny games to win giant stuffed animals. Another day, we went to an incredible aquarium where we got to pet rays and baby sharks in a touchpool. We even attended a circus show one night and saw daring acrobats, juggling clowns, and ferocious tigers leaping through rings of fire! All that fun meant the summer months flew by way too quickly. Before I knew it, it was time to get ready to go back to school, buy new uniforms and school supplies, and prepare for another year of studies. While I'm honestly kind of bummed that the vacation is over, I'm also really excited to see my friends again, learn new things, and start planning for next summer's adventures! This was just an appetizer - I already know that next year's summer break is going to be even more epic. I'll be counting down the days all year long!篇2My Awesome Summer VacationHi there! My name is Xiao Ming, and I'm a student in the sixth grade. I just had the most awesome summer vacation ever, and I can't wait to tell you all about it!It all started when school let out for the summer break. My parents had planned a big family trip for us, and I was super excited! We were going to visit my grandparents who live in a small village in the countryside. I love going there because it's so different from the big city where we live. The journey to my grandparents' village was really fun. We took a high-speed train, and I got to watch the beautiful scenery whizzing by through the window. The countryside is so green and lush, with rolling hills, winding rivers, and fields of crops as far as the eye can see. It's like a whole different world! When we finally arrived, my grandparents were waiting for us at the station with big smiles on their faces. They gave me the warmest hugs and kisses, and I could smell the delicious aroma of my grandma's cooking wafting from their little house. I was already in heaven! The first few days of our stay were really relaxing. I got to play in the fields, chase after the chickens and ducks, and explorethe nearby streams and forests. My grandpa even taught me how to fish in the little pond behind their house. I caught a couple of tiny fish, but I threw them back in because I didn't want to hurt them. One of the highlights of the trip was helping my grandparents tend to their vegetable garden. They grow all sorts of delicious veggies like tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, and spinach. I loved getting my hands dirty and learning about how to care for the plants. My grandma even showed me how to make a tasty salad with the freshly picked greens. It was so much fun, and the salad was super yummy!Another day, we went on a hike through the nearby mountains. The scenery was breathtaking, with towering peaks, deep valleys, and crystal-clear streams. We even spotted some wild animals like deer and rabbits! I felt like I was in a fairy tale or something. After the hike, we had a picnic lunch by a waterfall, and I got to splash around in the cool, refreshing water. It was the perfect way to beat the summer heat! But my absolute favorite part of the vacation was the night market that happens every weekend in the village. There were so many stalls selling all kinds of delicious street food, like barbecued skewers, hot pot, dumplings, and all sorts of sweettreats. The smells were mouth-watering, and the atmosphere was just electric with people laughing, haggling, and having a good time. I tried so many new and tasty foods, and I even got to help my grandma make some of her famous baozi (steamed buns).Sadly, all good things must come to an end, and before I knew it, it was time to head back home to the city. I was really sad to leave my grandparents and the peaceful village life behind, but I knew I'd be back soon. As we waved goodbye from the train, I felt so grateful for the amazing memories I'd made and the quality time I got to spend with my family.Overall, this summer vacation was one I'll never forget. I got to experience the simple joys of country living, learn new skills, try new foods, and create wonderful memories with my loved ones. I can't wait for my next adventure, but for now, I'll just cherish the special moments from this summer and look forward to going back to school refreshed and ready to learn!篇3My Dream JobI'm just a kid, but I've thought a lot about what I want to be when I grow up. There are so many cool jobs to choose from! Atfirst, I really wanted to be a professional soccer player. I love playing soccer and I'm pretty good at it. Scoring a game-winning goal in front of a huge crowd of cheering fans would be amazing. But then I realized that being a pro athlete is really hard work and I might get injured a lot.For a while, I dreamed of being a video game designer. How awesome would it be to create the next big hit game that all my friends are obsessed with? I could make up the characters, design the levels, and add in awesome power-ups and cheat codes. The problem is, I'm not that great at coding and math, which you really need for game design. I'd probably get stuck on all the programming.Another job I considered was being a chef or owning a restaurant. I love food, especially pizza, burgers, and anything with lots of cheese. It would be fun to create my own menu with all my favorite dishes. And I make a mean grilled cheese sandwich! But then I realized how much work it is to run a kitchen and please hungry customers all day. It sounds kind of stressful. So what's my current dream job? I think I want to be a zookeeper! Getting to hang out with cool animals like lions, tigers, elephants and monkeys all day sounds like so much fun. Iwould get to learn all about the different species and how to take care of them properly. Of course, there would be some gross parts of the job too, like cleaning out the animal enclosures. But that's a small price to pay for getting to interact with awesome creatures every day.As a zookeeper, I could watch the baby animals being born and help raise them. I'd make sure they stay healthy and have everything they need. Some of the animals would hopefully see me as a friend and let me pet them or play with them, as long as it's safe. Can you imagine getting to play tug-of-war with a baby elephant? Or teaching a parrot to repeat funny phrases? That would be hilarious!I love learning about different habitats too, like steamy rainforests, frozen tundras, and scorching deserts. At the zoo, I could take care of animals from all over the world. I would get to design their exhibits to be just like their natural environments, with the right temperatures, plants, rocks, and anything else they need to feel at home. It would be like traveling the globe without even leaving the zoo!One of the best parts about being a zookeeper is that I would get to teach zoo visitors about the amazing animals. I could explain their behaviors, diets, survival skills, and anydangers they face in the wild from poachers, habitat loss, pollution, and climate change. Maybe I could inspire some kids to care about the environment and animal conservation when they grow up. Who knows, perhaps they'll decide to be zookeepers too!Zoos also do a lot of great work saving endangered species. I could help breed animals that are on the verge of extinction and reintroduce them to protected areas of the wild. That would make me feel like a real-life superhero! Imagine if the last few remaining pandas or rhinos went extinct, but zoo breeding programs brought them back from the brink. I would be so proud to be part of an important conservation effort like that.Another neat part of the job is that zoos allow scientists and students to observe the animals and learn more about them through research studies. I'm very curious and I love learning new things, so that would be right up my alley. I could take notes on the behaviors I observe, like how the primates communicate through body language and vocalizations. Or I could collect samples like fur, feathers, or scat to analyze. Gross, but also fascinating!Zoos can sometimes be controversial, with some people thinking it's cruel to keep animals confined. But the good zoos, with proper enclosed habitats and excellent animal care, are actually preserving species and educating the public. I would want to work at one of those outstanding zoos that篇4My Awesome School LifeHi everyone! My name is Xiao Ming and I'm a sixth grade student at Pudong Experimental Primary School in Shanghai. I'm really excited to tell you all about my awesome school life and experiences!First off, I absolutely love my school. The campus is huge with modern buildings, big playgrounds, sports fields, and even a swimming pool. We have excellent facilities for learning and having fun. My favorite place is probably the library though. It's a massive room filled with so many interesting books on every topic you can imagine. I try to spend at least an hour a day in there reading or doing homework. The teachers at my school are all really great too. They are super patient and make the classes engaging and interactive. We never just sit and listen to lectures all period. There's always group work, hands-on activities, educational games, and interesting projects to work on. My favorite class is definitelyscience because we get to do a lot of cool experiments. Just last week we made little volcanoes erupt with baking soda and vinegar! So much fun.One of the best things about Pudong Experimental is the awesome extracurricular activities they offer. I'm involved in the robotics club, where we learn coding and engineering principles by building and programming little robots. It's challenging but incredibly rewarding when you get your creation to successfully complete a task. I also really enjoy being part of the drama club. We put on amazing performances a few times per year and get to design the sets, props, costumes, and everything. It helps build confidence and public speaking abilities.Another event I always look forward to is Sports Day towards the end of the school year. The whole student body gets divided into teams and we compete in all kinds of athletic activities - running races, relay events, tug-of-war, you name it. Everyone gets to participate no matter their abilities, and the focus is just on having fun, bonding with classmates, and promoting an active lifestyle. The day always ends with fantastic performances and a big closing ceremony where they hand out medals and trophies. It's such an adrenaline rush!School hasn't just been all fun and games though. I've certainly had my fair share of challenges too. One that really sticks out is when I first started learning English. I found it so confusing and difficult to pick up at first. All the weird pronunciations, grammatical rules, and vocabulary felt impossible to master. But my English teachers were extremely supportive and used a lot of engaging methods like songs, games and reading kids books to make it click. After a lot of perseverance, it eventually became one of my favorite subjects. I'm now pretty fluent and hope to become an English teacher myself one day!Another big challenge was trying to make friends when I first started at this school. Since it's a big campus with students from all over Shanghai, it was pretty intimidating at first. I was really shy and had trouble working up the courage to approach others. My parents and teachers encouraged me to put myself out there though. I started joining clubs and group activities which allowed me to bond with others over shared interests. Before I knew it, I had a great group of friends to chat, play, and go on adventures with during breaks and after school.Looking back, my six years at Pudong Experimental Primary School have been filled with so many wonderful memories andexperiences that I'll cherish forever. I've grown so much as a student and individual. From learning critical academic concepts across all subjects to developing important life skills like public speaking, teamwork, and time management. This school has given me an incredible foundation and prepared me well for the challenges of secondary school. While I'm definitely going to miss so many aspects of this chapter, I'm also really excited to start the next one! Middle school will open up even more opportunities to explore new interests, face new challenges, and develop further as a person. I may be leaving Pudong Experimental, but the lessons, skills, and amazing memories I've made here will stick with me forever. Thank you teachers, staff, and friends for making the past 6 years so awesome! I'll never forget this incredibly special time. Off篇5My English Writing for the Big TestHi there! My name is Xiao Ming and I'm in 6th grade. I just took the really important English test for going to middle school. The writing part was super hard but I tried my best! The question asked us to write about an experience that taught us an important lesson. At first, I didn't know what to write because lots of things happen to me and I learn new stuff all the time. But then I remembered the time last summer when I learned a big lesson about being responsible. It was the first week of summer vacation and I was so excited! No school, no homework, just playing video games and hanging out with my friends all day. My parents had some rules though - I had to clean my room once a week, take out the trash, and feed our dog Buddy every morning. At first I did what I was supposed to do. But after a couple weeks, I kind of forgot about my responsibilities. My room was a huge mess with clothes and toys everywhere. The trash was overflowing. And poor Buddy didn't get his breakfast most days.I was just having too much fun! Then one day, my mom came into my room looking really mad. "Xiao Ming!" she yelled. "Look at this pigsty! And you forgot to take out the trash again? What is that horrible smell?" She made me clean up the whole mess right then. It took forever! The next morning, I felt bad because Buddy was whimpering and his food bowl was empty. I finally remembered to feed him. As I watched Buddy gobble up his food, I felt terrible forforgetting about him those past few days. Dogs need to be taken care of just like people! That's when it really hit me - if I don't do my responsibilities and be responsible, bad things happen. The house gets messy and smelly. Our dog goes hungry. My parents get upset with me.I realized I needed to step it up and do better. From then on, I made sure to clean my room, take out the trash, and feed Buddy every single day without being reminded. It was hard at first to get into the routine, but soon it became a habit. My parents were so proud of me for being more responsible. And Buddy jumped up and licked my face every morning after his breakfast! That experience during summer vacation really taught me how important it is to be responsible. If you make a commitment or have certain duties, you need to follow through - no matter what. Responsibilities don't go away just because you feel like ignoring them. Pushing them aside only creates bigger problems later on.I try to apply that lesson to all parts of my life now, not just chores at home. Like at school, if I have homework or a project due, I get it done on time instead of procrastinating. With myresponsibilities taken care of, I have peace of mind and can enjoy fun activities even more. I'm still a kid and loveto play, but I know I have to take care of important things first. So that's the experience I wrote about on the test - learning responsibility the hard way one summer but becoming a much better person because of it. Feeding Buddy, cleaning up after myself, doing homework diligently - it's all part of being responsible. And that's a crucial life lesson everyone needs to learn at some point. Even though I'm just a 6th grader, I feel like I'm way ahead of the game!Phew, that was one long essay! I just hope I explained everything clearly and didn't ramble too much. Keeping my fingers crossed that I did a good job. Writing is hard work! But now you know all about the valuable lesson I learned and shared on the test. If you ever forget to feed your dog, you'll know what to do!篇6My Amazing Summer VacationHi everyone! My name is Lily and I just finished 6th grade at Xincheng Elementary School. I had the most amazing summer vacation this year and I can't wait to tell you all about it!It all started on the last day of school in June. My best friend Sophia and I were so excited because our families had planned a big trip together. Sophia's dad is really into hiking and exploring nature, while my mom loves learning about different cultures and history. So they decided to take us on an adventure to explore the ancient Silk Road in western China! After what felt like the longest flight ever, we finally arrived in Xinjiang province. Our first stop was the city of Kashgar, which has been an important trading center on the Silk Road for over 2,000 years. We stayed in a traditional Uyghur hotel and I loved the colorful tile work and intricate wooden carvings everywhere. The food was also super delicious - I became totally obsessed with samsa, which are these little meat pies. From Kashgar, we drove deeper into the desert towards the Taklamakan, which is one of the largest sandy deserts in the world. We went on a camel trek and our guide taught us how the ancient caravans would cross this harsh environment by following the stars and stopping at desert oases. I felt like a real explorer! After our desert adventure, we headed further west into the mountains. We visited the ancient Buddhist caves and temples carved right into the cliffs at Bezeklik. Hundreds of years ago, monks would live, study, and do their spiritual practices inside these cave dwellings. It was so peaceful and serene. Sophia and I made a game of trying to find and identify all the different Buddha statues based on their hand gestures and poses. Our journey continued to the legendary oasis city of Turfan. This place is renowned for its grape vineyards and sweet melons. We visited a karez underground irrigation system that has been funneling water from the mountains to the farms for over 2,000 years! The technology of how it works is amazing and I learned so much about desert agriculture. We also explored the Bezeklik Thousand Buddha Caves, which had breathtaking Buddhist murals and art covering every inch of the walls and ceilings. After Turfan, we finally made our way to one of the main highlights - the city of Dunhuang on the edge of the Taklamakan Desert. This was a major point where Silk Road travelers and traders would rest before continuing their journey. We visited the famous Mogao Grottos, which are a massive cluster of almost 500 caves filled with Buddhist statues and murals. Mymind was absolutely blown by the vivid colors and details that have survived over 1,500 years! But that's not all we did in Dunhuang. We also went on a camping adventure into the nearby sand dunes of the desert. We rode camels up and down the huge golden dunes as the sun was setting. It was like being on another planet! That night we stayed in traditional yurts and cooked over a campfire under a sky full of more stars than I had ever seen. Sophia's dad taught us how to find the constellations and navigate using just the stars. I felt like a real nomad on the Silk Road! Our final stop was the historic city of Jiayuguan at the western end of the Great Wall of China. We explored the imposing fortress there, which was the last outpost guarding the Silk Road from invaders and bandits coming from the west. Getting to walk along the ancient Great Wall itself was a dream come true. Even though it was blazing hot, I felt like I was transported back in time as a soldier defending the empire.Looking back, I'm still in awe at everything we experienced on this trip along the Silk Road. I saw and learned so many new things about different cultures, ancient history, and desert life. It really opened my eyes to what an amazing and diverse world we live in. I made so many special memories with my family and bestfriend that I'll never forget. I feel like a real adventurer now! I can't wait to go on my next big trip, but for now it's time for the new school year to start. Thanks for reading about my awesome summer vacation!。

My HometownMy hometown is beautiful place It stands near a wide river at the foot of low GREen hills. It has many tall buildings and wide streets. There are trees and flowers everywhere. But it has not always been like that. In the old days, it was a sad dirty little town. Landlords and merchants lived in the few good houses. For the working people there were only dark, unhealthy rooms in old buildings and huts in narrow muddy streets. Nearly everyone was poor and many had no work.Everything has changed since liberation.
