1. What do you often do in the Spring Festival?

The Spring Festival is the most important festival for the Chinese people. My family members get together, just like Christmas in the West. We eat big meal at home, after meal we eat dumpling. The dumpling is very delicious. I like it very much .And then we set off the firework. It is very beautiful.

2. Where did you go last Spring Festival?

Last Spring Festival I went to a temple fair with my parents. The fair had lots of games to play, food to eat, performances to watch. In the temple fair I tasted numerous kinds of local snacks, court food and other dishes. Just as most temple fairs do, there were dragon and lion dances, waist drum dance, lotus blossom fairy dances, which were all very traditional. We had wonderful time.

3. What do you eat in the Spring Festival?

I like eating dumpling, because it is very delicious. Sometimes there are coins in it. But, I never get coins in it. I only get dumplings with meat and vegetable fillings. Dumpling is a traditional Chinese Food which many people like it.

4. Do Chinese people eat dumplings in foreign countries in spring festival?

I think all of them won’t forget the traditional custom of eating dumpling on the eve of the Spring Festival.

5. What do you do on the Eve of the Spring Festival?

At night, we often eat dumpling. And then, we watch Spring Festival gala on CCTV-1. It is so interesting and fanny. After watch TV, we went out to set off the fireworks, we are very excited when we listen to the “bang”. There are many colorful fireworks flashing in the sky. I feel so on the Eve of the Spring Festival.

6. What festival do you like? What’s your favorite festival?

I like May Day best, because I needn’t go to school for three days. I can sleep. In normal time, I have much homework to do. So on that day, I will feel so happy for I have no homework.

7. What kinds of legal holidays and festivals are there in china?

There are Spring Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, May Day, New Year’s Day, and Tomb-sweeping Day.

8. Which festival is important for the Chinese people?

I think the Spring Festival is the most important because it is traditional festival. We Chinese people must celebrate this Festival. There are many activities to celebrate the Festival, so I think the Spring Festival is important.

9. How do Chinese people celebrate their National Day? What

ceremonies are involved?

People usually go to Tian Anmen Square to visit national flay-raising ceremony. There are many activities, such as parade in the streets, have patriotic speeches.

11. How do people celebrate Christmas?

People will decorate rooms; buy some food with parent. I put star on the top of Christmas tree. It’s very beautiful. We also eat turkey. Christmas is on December 24th. The Christmas is the most important Festival in western countries. I think Christmas is very interesting Festival. I like it very much.

12. What’s the difference between Christmas and Chinese Spring Festival?

At Christmas we eat turkey but In Spring Festival we eat dumplings. On Christmas Eve, there is a Christmas Father, but in the Spring Festival there is a“nian”.

13. Do you think national celebrations are important? Why or why not?

I think they are very important because it’s the birthday of our motherland, so we must celebrate.

15. Can you say something about the Spring Festival?

In spring people are so happy because it’s our important Festival. I like it very much. Just like at Christmas in western countries, Chinese people in the Spring Festival just say best wishes and talk about happy things so I like it very much.

16. What do you plan to do on Lantern’s Day?

On the Lantern's Festival I want go to park to see lanterns. I like lanterns very much because they are very beautiful. On that Day I often eat “tangyuan”and it's so delicious.

17. How did you spend Christmas Eve?

I went to party with friends. We sang, danced and played. We felt so happy that I didn’t want to go home even it was very late. After I came home, I ate turkey and watched TV and told story with my father.

19. Do you like the temple fair?

I don’t like because there ar e so many people there. I can’t see anything but only many people. I have to line up everywhere.

20. If there is no coins in dumplings will you eat it?

Of course, I’ll eat them, because everyone eats dumplings on the eve of Spring Festival. Although coins means lucky, there is no coins, I don’t care.
