Why do you think people attend college or university?People attend colleges or universities for a lot of different reasons. I believe that the three most common reasons are to prepare for a career, to have new experiences, and to increase their knowledge of themselves and the world around them.(41words)Career preparation is becoming more and more important to young people. For many, this is the primary reason to go to college. They know that the job market is competitive. At college, they can learn new skill for careers with a lot of opportunities. This means careers, such as information technology, are expected to need a large workforce in the coming years.(62 words) Also, students go to colleges and universities to have new experiences. This often means having the opportunity to meet people different from those in their hometowns. For most students, going to college is the first time they have been away form home by themselves. In addition, this is the first time they have had to make decisions on their own. Making these decisions increases their knowledge of themselves.(68 words)Besides looking for self-knowledge, people also attend a university or college to expand their knowledge in subjects they find interesting. For many, this will be their last chance for a long time to learn about something that does not relate to their career.(43 words)I would recommend that people not be so focused on a career. 英语作文五段式结构模板

英语作文五段式结构模板I understand your request for an English essay template structured in five paragraphs. Here's a template that follows the typical structure of an academic essay: introduction, main body (three paragraphs), and conclusion. Please note that while I will provide a template, it's important to adapt the content to your specific topic and prompt.Template:Introduction (Paragraph 1):Begin with a general statement or fact that sets the stage for your topic.Introduce the main idea or argument of your essay.End with a thesis statement that summarizes your position and previews the main points you will cover in thebody of the essay.Main Body (Paragraphs 2, 3, and 4):Paragraph 2: Discuss the first main point that supports your thesis.+ Begin with a topic sentence that introduces the main point.+ Provide evidence or examples to support your argument.+ Discuss the implications or significance of this point.+ Conclude with a transitional sentence leading to the next paragraph.Paragraph 3: Discuss the second main point that supports your thesis.+ Repeat the structure of Paragraph 2, focusing on a different aspect or argument.+ Ensure that this point complements the first point and further develops your argument.+ Transition smoothly to the next paragraph.Paragraph 4: Discuss the third main point that supports your thesis.+ Again, follow the same structure, introducing a new aspect or evidence to support your position.+ Connect this point to the previous ones to demonstrate the coherence of your argument.+ Transition to the conclusion by summarizing the main ideas discussed in the body of the essay. Conclusion (Paragraph 5):Restate your thesis or main argument.Summarize the key points discussed in the body of the essay.Draw a conclusion that ties back to your introduction and leaves the reader with a final thought or insight.Avoid introducing new ideas or arguments in the conclusion.Remember to maintain a logical flow throughout the essay, ensuring that each paragraph builds upon the previous one. Also, make sure to use transitional words and phrases to connect ideas and enhance readability.Since you requested an article of at least 1000 words, you would need to expand upon each section of the template, providing more detailed examples, evidence, and analysis. The template provides a basic structure, but it's important to tailor it to your specific topic and writing style.。

英语作文范文-HowtoWriteaFiveParagraphEssay

英语作文范文-HowtoWriteaFiveParagraphEssay

英语作文范文-HowtoWriteaFiveParagraphEssay英语作文范文How to Write a Five Paragraph EssayHow to Write a Five Paragraph Essay While the classic five paragraph essay is a form seldom if ever used by professional writers, it is commonly assigned to students to help them organize and develop their ideas in writing. It can also be a very useful way to write a complete and clear response to an essay question on an exam. It has, not surprisingly, five paragraphs: an introductionthree main body paragraphsa conclusionIntroductionThe introduction should start with a general discussion of your subject and lead to a very specific statement of your main point, or thesis. Sometimes an essay begins with a “grabber,” such as a challenging claim, or surprising story to catch a reader’s attention. The thesis should tell in one (or at most two) sentence(s), what youroverall point or argument is, and briefly, what your main body paragraphs will be about. For example, in an essay about the importance of airbags in cars, the introduction might start with some information about car accidents and survival rates. It might also have a grabber about someone who survived a terrible accident because of an airbag. The thesis would briefly state the main reasons for recommending airbags, and each reason would be discussed in the main body of the essay.Main Body Paragraphs (3)Each main body paragraph will focus on a single idea, reason, or example that supports your thesis. Each paragraph will have a clear topic sentence (a mini thesis that states the main idea of the paragraph) and as much discussion or explanation as is necessary to explain the point. You should try to use details and specific examples to make your ideas clear and convincing.ConclusionYour conclusion begins with a restatement ofyour main point; but be sure to paraphrase, not just repeat your thesis sentence. Then you want to add some sentences that emphasize the importance of the topic and the significance of your view. Think about what idea or feeling you want to leave your reader with. The conclusion is the reverse of the introduction in that it starts out very specific and becomes a bit more general as you finish.TransitionsTransitions connect your paragraphs to one another, especially the main body ones. It’s not effective to simply jump from one idea to the next; you need to use the end of one paragraph and/or the beginning of the next to show the relationship between the two ideas.Between each paragraph and the one that follows, you need a transition. It can be built in to the topic sentence of the next paragraph, or it can be the concluding sentence of the first. It can even be a little of both. T o express the relationship between the two paragraphs, think about words and phrases that compare and contrast.Does the first paragraph tell us a pro and the second a con? (“on the other hand . . .”)Does the second paragraph tell us something of greatersignificance? (“more importantly . . .”)An earl ier historical example? (“even before [topic of paragraph 1], [topic of paragraph 2]”)A different kind of consideration? (money versus time).Think about your paragraph topics and brainstorm until you find the most relevant links between them.。
