Wild!We also went horseback riding through the desert which was fun but very dusty. The cowboy hats helped keep the sun off our faces at least. And we visited these ancient Native American ruins built into the side of a cliff by an old tribe. They must have been super good rock climbers!By far though, the best part of the whole trip was our adventure underground. We went on a tour of these crazy cool caves filled with stalagmites and stalactites and all kinds of incredible rock formations. It was like being on an alien planet!At one point, our guide turned off all the lights and it was the darkest darkness I have ever experienced. You literally could not see your hand in front of your face. It was both creepy and amazing at the same time. My mom didn't really bug me about anything since it was still pretty early in the break. She was like "Enjoy your freedom while you can!" I think she was just happy to have me out of her hair for a little while.After about a week though, I started to get a little bored and restless just sitting around the house all day. That's when my parents decided it was time for a family road trip! We loaded up the car and headed down to Florida to visit my grandparents and go to Disney World.
