让学生通过参与、思考、讨论、交流与合作等方式，学习和使用英语，实现目标任务。
培养学生语言的运用能力及表达能力。
根据课程标准对本节课的要求，针对小学生的心理特点和认知水平，结合教材，本着面向全体学生，基于学全面主动发展的原则，确定本节课的教学目标。
学习目标1、能听、说、认读grass、bye、great单词。
2、进一步熟练使用You’re welcome.Don’t open the gate.3、复习巩固句型 What can you hear?4、培养学生做一个懂礼貌、遵守公共秩序的文明学生，形成爱护动物和保护动物的意识。
教学重点：能区分These are…与This is…的用法。
学生分析学生在上节课已经学习了相关内容，已经掌握了一定量的单词及表达农场有什么动物，所以本课的学习中课前可以让学生们回顾前面所学，通过不同层次的活动使以往的知识得以巩固也可以融入到新课当中，促进完整表达和输出。
交流的活动中建立自信，享受到学习的快乐，得到相关的知识，培养学生对英语运用的实践能力，让他们成为学习的主人。
教学目标知识与技能使学生运用所学知识把本节课的生活用语能够运用到实践当中，并且也能加强口语的练习。
过程与方法做游戏，学生分组进行情境表演，让其他同学猜一猜回顾学过的知识，并且能够应用到下面即将要讲的新课中。
