It's a tough decision in some degrees.As my partners has informed, nowadays majority of Chinese are still controlled by the conservative and traditional ideas that to make the people in death live longer by way of mechanical treatments is a manner of filial duty.But what out of their expectation is the much more and much longer pain the people will suffer.Compared with China ,American hold the different point of view towards this problem as we have a totally different concept . We are told and deeply affected by the traditional Chinese thoughts come from Confucius and other ancient cultures.On the contrary, though with a shorter history than China, America has unique and rational society concepts in many aspects.However,Chinese and American,on earth,have the common thoughts towards death.And in some degree,American has a inferior understanding of death than Chinese owing to the history and culture. Yet,American have chosen to avoid the mechanical treatments and leave the world with no pain to in accord with their sense.However,to maintain the life as long as possible with mechanical treatments is what most Chinese believe in.What's more,as we all known, the technology of America is much more advanced than China and let alone the medicine. With the advanced equipments, sometimes American also show helpless and inability to the death. They will do their best to save every patient,but for the people in death ,they would rather choose to give the paregoric to lessen the pain and make patients passed away peacefully and painlessly.In the face of the death,there is no doubt that everyone may be afraid of it. Nevertheless it is the required course of life. Then will you want to leave the world with tubes still on your body and suffered pain to live the miserable life when you are in death?
