1.选文特点
所选文章几乎全是叙述文体的原汁原味的小 故事,内容情节深刻,常涉及人物心理活动的 细致描写,篇章与语句的结构变化丰富多彩; 文章篇幅相对稳定,一般在 250~300 词之间; 所选短文结构严谨、层次分明、逻辑性强。
(2)实词性。一般说来,一篇完形填空测试 考生的什么能力,通常与短文的空格设计有关。 如果空格要求考生填入连词、介词、冠词等, 则空格为功能性空格;如果要求填入名词、动 词、形容词、副词等实义词,则空格为语义空 格。从近年来的高考英语完形填空的设空特点 来看,完形填空的待选项90%以上为语义空格, 即以实词为主。

2.设空特点
(1)完整性。尽管文章有意挖去了一些词或 短语,使信息链中断,造成间隔性的语义空白, 但仍不失为一篇表达完整的文章。完形填空题 一般为记叙文、说明文和夹叙夹议的文章。记 叙文具有很强的故事性,故事情节涉及时间、 地点、人物、过程、结局等基本要素。说明文 一般开篇点题,段落之间承上启下,过渡自然 连贯。无论哪种体裁,都提供完整的语篇信息。
考点二 语法结构型
近年来高考完形填空中单纯考查语法知识的 题很少,只是偶尔出现一两道。对语法结构的 考查主要集中在定语从句(连接词,限制与非限 制性定语从句的区别,定语从句与其他主从复 合句的区别),状语从句,非谓语动词(动词不定 式、现在分词、过去分词、动名词),时态,语 态以及一些特殊句型,如并列句、省略句、
