世界著名英语演讲稿(精选)[AUTHENTICITY CERTIFIED: Text version below transcribed directly from audio. (2)]In the context of an election year, I ask you, here in this great hall, or listening in the quiet of your home, to recognize that AIDS virus is not a political creature. It does not care whether you are Democrat or Republican; it does not ask whether you are black or white, male or female, gay or straight, youngor old. This is not a distant threat. It is a present danger. Therate of infection is increasing fastest among women and children. Largely unknown a decade ago, AIDS is the third leading killerof young adult Americans today. But it won’t be third for long, because unlike other diseases, this one travels. Adolescents don’t give each other cancer or heart disease because they believe they are in love, but HIV is different; and we have helped it along. We have killed each other with our ignorance, our prejudice, and our silence. With the President’s leadership, much good has been done. Much of the good has gone unheralded, and as the President has insisted, much remains to be done. But we do the President’s cause no good if we praise the American family but ignore avirus that destroys it.We must be consistent if we are to be believed. We cannot love justice and ignore prejudice, love our children and fear to teach them. Whatever our role as parent or policymaker, we must act as eloquently as we speak -- else we have no integrity. My call to the nation is a plea for awareness. If you believe you are safe, you are in danger. Because I was not hemophiliac, I was not at risk. Because I was not gay, I was not at risk. Because I did not inject drugs, I was not at risk.“They came after the Jews, and I was not a Jew, so, I did not protest. They came after the trade unionists, and I was not a trade unionist, so, I did not protest. Then they came after the Roman Catholics, and I was not a Roman Catholic, so, I did not protest. Then they came after me, and there was no one left to protest.”Tonight, HIV marches resolutely toward AIDS in more than a million American homes, littering its pathway with the bodies of the young -- young men, young women, young parents, and young children. One of the families is mine. If it is true that HIV inevitably turns to AIDS, then my children will inevitably turn to orphans. My family has been a rock of support. My 84-year-old father, who has pursued the healing of the nations, will not accept the premise that he cannot heal his daughter. My mother refuses to be broken. She still calls at midnight to tell wonderful jokes that make me laugh. Sisters andfriends, and my brother Phillip, whose birthday is today, all have helped carry me over the hardest places. I am blessed, richly and deeply blessed, to have such a family.Someday our children will be grown. My son Max, now four, will take the measure of his mother. My son Zachary, now two, will sort through his memories. I may not be here to hear their judgments, but I know already what I hope they are. I want my children to know that their mother was not a victim. She was a messenger. I do not want them to think, as I once did, that courage is the absence of fear. I want them to know that courage is the strength to act wisely when most we are afraid. I want them to have the courage to step forward when called by their nation or their Party and give leadership, no matter what the personal cost.To my children, I make this pledge: I will not give in, Zachary, because I draw my courage from you. Your silly giggle gives me hope; your gentle prayers give me strength; and you, my child, give me the reason to say to America, "You are at risk." And I will not rest, Max, until I have done all I can to make your world safe. I will seek a place where intimacy is not the prelude to suffering. I will not hurry to leave you, my children, but when I go, I pray that you will not suffer shame on my account. To all within the sound of my voice, I appeal: Learn with me the lessons of history and of grace, so my children will not be afraid to say the word "AIDS" when I am gone. Then, their children and yours may not need to whisper it at all.God bless the children, and God bless us all.Good night.

Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon/evening, and welcome to this gathering of English enthusiasts, educators, and learners from around the world. It is my great honor to stand before you today to share my thoughts on the power of English, a language that has transcended geographical boundaries and cultural divides to become a universal medium of communication and understanding. As a world-renowned English teacher, I have had the privilege of witnessing the transformative power of language firsthand. Today, I would like to take you on a journey through the global connections that English has forged, and how it continues to shape our world.I. The Evolution of EnglishLet us begin by taking a brief stroll through the history of English. Once upon a time, English was the language of a small island nation, England. Today, it is the most widely spoken language in the world, with over 1.5 billion people having English as their first or second language. The journey of English began with the Anglo-Saxons, a group of Germanic tribes that migrated to Britain in the 5th century. Over time, the language was influenced by the Normans, the Vikings, and other invaders, giving it a rich tapestry of vocabulary and syntax. The Renaissance further expanded the reach of English, as scholars and writers such as William Shakespeare, Geoffrey Chaucer, and Jane Austen brought it to the forefront of literary achievements. Today, English is not only a vehicle for literature but also a means of technological innovation, scientific discovery, and global collaboration.II. The Global Reach of EnglishThe global reach of English can be attributed to several factors. First and foremost, the British Empire played a significant role in spreading the language. As the empire expanded, so did the influence of English, making it a lingua franca in many parts of the world. In the 20th century, the United States emerged as a global superpower, and with it, the influence of American English grew exponentially. Hollywood movies, American music, and the internet have all contributed to the spread of English as a global language.Today, English is the primary language of international business, diplomacy, and technology. It is the language of the United Nations, the Internet, and the global economy. English has become a bridge between cultures, a means of fostering understanding and cooperation amongpeople from diverse backgrounds.III. The Benefits of Learning EnglishLearning English has numerous benefits, both for individuals and for society as a whole. Here are some of the key advantages:1. Access to Information: English is the language of science, technology, and research. By learning English, individuals gain access to a vast repository of knowledge and information that can help them grow intellectually and professionally.2. Economic Opportunities: English proficiency opens doors to numerous job opportunities, especially in multinational companies andinternational organizations. It allows individuals to compete in the global job market and secure better career prospects.3. Cultural Exchange: English enables individuals to connect with people from different cultures and backgrounds. It allows for the exchange of ideas, the appreciation of diverse traditions, and the fostering of global friendships.4. Personal Development: Learning English can enhance cognitive skills, such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication. It can also boost self-confidence and personal growth.IV. The Challenges of Teaching EnglishWhile the benefits of learning English are clear, the challenges of teaching it are equally significant. As English teachers, we mustnavigate a complex landscape of diverse learners, varying levels of proficiency, and different cultural backgrounds. To address these challenges, we must:1. Be Culturally Sensitive: Recognize and appreciate the diversecultural backgrounds of our students, and adapt our teaching methods to cater to their needs.2. Utilize Technology: Leverage technology to create engaging and interactive learning experiences that cater to different learning styles.3. Emphasize Communication: Focus on developing students' speaking and listening skills, as these are essential for real-world communication.4. Foster Collaboration: Encourage students to work together, both in the classroom and in their personal lives, to build their confidence and social skills.V. The Future of EnglishAs we look to the future, it is evident that English will continue to play a pivotal role in our interconnected world. However, the language itself is not static; it is constantly evolving and adapting to the needs of its speakers. To ensure the continued relevance of English, we must:1. Promote Multilingualism: Encourage the learning of other languages, which will enrich our understanding of the world and foster a more inclusive global community.2. Support Language Diversity: Recognize and celebrate the value of other languages, while ensuring that English remains a vital tool for global communication.3. Innovate Teaching Methods: Continue to develop new and effective teaching strategies that cater to the needs of a diverse and dynamic student population.4. Embrace Global Collaboration: Work together with educators from around the world to share best practices, resources, and ideas for the betterment of English education. In conclusion, English is a powerful language that has the potential to connect, unite, and transform our world. As English teachers, we have a responsibility to harness this power, to inspire our students, and to help them become global citizens who can navigate the complexities of our interconnected world.Thank you for joining me on this journey. Let us continue to embrace the power of English and work together to create a brighter, more inclusive future for all.Thank you.。

We're going to go on a dive to the deep sea, and anyone that's had that lovely opportunity knows that for about two and half hours on the way down, it's a perfectly positively pitch—black world。

And we used to see the most mysterious animals out the windowthat you couldn't describe: these blinking lights —— a world of bioluminescence, like fireflies。

Dr。

Edith Widder —— she's now at the Ocean Research and Conservation Association ——was able to come up with a camera that could capture some of these incredible animals, and that's what you're seeing here on the screen。

For one thing,no matter when and where Jenny got into trouble ,Forrest Gumpwould bring her out of it without thinking how dangerous the situation would be.Maybe we should all fell ashamed that we love ourselves more than we love love, but Forrest showed great courage in love .For another,Forrest gump risked hislife to save Bubba in the war. It’s courage that helped Forrest gain a series ofhonor after war .Forrest Gump is beautiful for his perseverance and touchesothers with his courage.A per son can’t do without courage in terms of love and friendship ,letalone life . A weak person may avoid the difficulties ,but a person with couragewill face up to it head-on. Therefore, let’equip ourselves with greatcourage.【参考译文】我们一生中遇到各种困难和挑战是无可指责的,有些人会经常悲伤,有些人将失去前进的道路,只有当我们有希望和勇气时,我们才能在不确定的将来取得成功。

1I have a dream that one day every vally shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.Wow, what a dream it has been for Martin Luther King. But the changing world seems telling me that people gradually get their dreams lost somehow in the process of growing up, and sometimes I personally find myself saying goodbye unconsciously to those distant childhood dreams. However, we meed dreams. They nourish our spirit; they represent possibility even when we are dragged down by reality. They keep us going. Most successful people are dreamers as well as ordinary people who are not afraid to think big and dare to be great. When we were little kids, we all dreamed of doing something big and splashy, something significant. Now what we need to do is to maintain them, refresh them and turn them into reality. However, the toughest part is that we often have no ideas how to translate these dreams into actions. Well, just start with concrete objectives and stick to it. Don’t let the nameless fear confuse the eye and confound our strong belief of future. Through our talents, through our wits, through our endurance and through our creativity, we will make it.Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow. So my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams. Whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today. 2Good morning ladies and gentlemen:The title of my speech today is “The Doors that Are Open to Us ”.The other day my aunt paid me a visit. She was overjoyed. “I got the highest mark in the mid-term examination!” she said. Don’t be surprised! My aunt is indeed a student; to be exact, a college student at the age of 45.Last year, she put aside her private business and signed up for a one-year, full-time management course in a college. “This was the wisest decision I have ever made,” she said proudly like a teenage girl. To her, college is always a right place to pick up new ideas, and new ideas always make her feel young.“Compared with the late 70s,” she says, “now college students have many doors.” My aunt cannot help but recall her first college experience in 1978 when college doors began to be re-opened after the Cultural Revolution. She was assigned to study engineering despite her desire to study Chinese literature, and a few years later, the government sent her to work in a TV factory.I was shocked when she first told me how she (had) had no choice in her major and job. Look at us today! So many doors are open to us! I believe there have never been such abundant opportunities forself-development as we have today. And my aunt told me that we should reach our goals by grasping all these opportunities. The first door I see is the opportunity to study different kinds of subjects that interest us. My aunt said she was happy to study management, but she was also happy that she could attend lectures on ancient Chinese poetry and on Shakespearean drama. As for myself, I am an English major, but I may also go to lectures on history. To me, if college education in the past emphasized specialization, now, itemphasizes free and well-rounded development of each individual. So all the fine achievements of human civilization are open to us. 3When clock is belling,my heart ripple along with it,to distant with you, transmit my missing,to be joyful! My dear friend! Please open the window, let the new year’s wind blow your room and the snow flying in,my warming wish flutter to your heart!Flowers are disseminationing fragrant, friendship transmissing warm, hope us to brimming in a happy year, wishes you: Happy New Year! Best wishes! Does not experience the wind and rain, how can see the rainbow?nobody can casually succeed! So refuel! The same as New year!Missing are a smell of flower fragrance, inundated the mountain valley, cover your and me,and blessing are the boundlessattention, overflow the eye, until the heart. We hugging and listening the new year’clock, just like listening the breath of annual, crowding around our same dream, making the sincerly blessing with the ture love,Happy New Year!My dear friend!wish you happy usually, have the vitality continually, still have happiness and content,I’m very happy to cooperate with you in the past year, hoped you best wishes in the new year! The breeze lightly strokes, the white clouds far pass,in my heart was the eternal friendship, willing my blessing is the most freshest, and you will take it to your heart世界著名英语演讲稿4In this competitive society it is essential to know how to sell yourself in order to get the job you want. That means you must be able to market your best features and present yourself in the best light. After all, you never get a second chance to make a first impression. There are several things you can do to project a good image in an interview. First of all, look like a winner. Dress conservatively and well, and you’ll look like you’re going to the top. Second, communicate clearly. Consider each question carefully and respond with total honesty. Remember to make eye contact and maintain good posture. You need to look attentive but also at ease. Third, have a positive and assertive attitude. It’s important to appear confident of your ability and optimistic about your future. Finally, be prepared. Present a professional resume and be ready to explain everything in detail.By following the advice above, you are bound to make a good impression on potential employers. Then you will be able to choose the best opportunity for you and take that first step towards success. 5The second door is the door to the outside world. Learning goes beyond classrooms and national boundaries. My aunt remembers her previous college days as monotonous and even calls her generation “frogs in a well.” But today, as the world becomes a global village, it is important that our neighbors and we be open-minded to learn with and from each other.I have many fellow international classmates, and I am applying to an exchange program with a university abroad. As for my aunt, she is planning to get an MBA degree in the United Kingdom where her daughter, my cousin, is now doing her master’s degree in biochemistry. We are now taking the opportunity to study overseas, and when we come back, we’ll put to use what we have learnt abroad. The third door is the door to lifelong learning. As new ideas appear all the time, we always need to acquire new knowledge, regardless of our age. Naturally, my aunt herself is the best example. Many of my aunt’s contemporaries say that she is amazingly up-to-date for a middle-aged woman. She simply responds,“Age doesn’t matter. What matters is yourattitude. You may think it’s strange that I am still going to college, but I don’t think I’m too old to learn.”Yes, she is right. Since the government removed the age limit for college admissions in 20xx, there are already some untraditional students, sitting with us in the same classrooms. Like these people, my aunt is old but she is very young in spirit. With her incredible energy and determination, she embodies both tradition and modernity. The doors open to us also pose challenges. For instance, we are faced with the challenge of a balanced learning, the challenge of preserving our fine tradition while learning from the West, and the challenge of learning continuously while carrying heavy responsibilities to our work and family. So, each door is a test of our courage, ability and judgment, but with the support of my teachers, parents, friends and my aunt, I believe I can meet the challenge head on. When I reach my aunt’s age, I can be proud to say that I have walked through dozens of doors and will, in the remainder of my life, walk through many more. Possibly I will go back to college, too.Thank you very much, ladies and gentlemen.

the four freedomsfranklin delano rooseveltin the future days, which we seek to make secure, we look forward to a world founded upon four essential human freedoms.the first is freedom of speech and expression -- everywhere in the world.the second is freedom of every person to worship god in his own way -- everywhere in the world.the third is freedom from want, which, translated into world terms, means economic understandings which will secure to every nation a healthy peacetime life for its inhabitants -- everywhere in the world. the fourth is freedom from fear, which, translated into world terms, means a world-wide reduction of armaments to such a point and in such a thorough fashion that no nation will be in a position to mit an act of physical aggression against any neighbor -- anywhere in the world.that is no vision of a distant millennium. it is a definite basisfor a kind of world attainable in our own time and generation. that kind of world is the very antithesis of the so-called “new order” of tyranny which the dictators seek to create with the crash of a bomb.to that new order we oppose the greater conception -- the moral order. a good society is able to face schemes of world domination and foreign revolutions alike without fear.since the beginning of our american history we have been engaged in change, in a perpetual, peaceful revolution, a revolution which goes on steadily, quietly, adjusting itself to changing conditions without the concentration camp or the quicklime in the ditch. the world order which we seek is the cooperation of free countries, working together in a friendly, civilized society.this nation has placed its destiny in the hands and heads and hearts of its millions of free men and women, and its faith in freedom under the guidance of god. freedom means the supremacy of human rights everywhere. our support goes to those who struggle to gain those rights and keep them. our strength is our unity of purpose.to that high concept there can be no end save victory.

著名演讲稿大学生英文演讲稿:从跌倒的地方站起来let’s stand up from where we fall down all the celebrations weling the new century were hold in the year 2014, because life without a greeting is like the sky without the sun.greetings are very important for the whole world,in my opinion. but i dont know whether greetings are enough for us.especially when we meet with failures .i remember quite clearly that when i was a child,if ifall down and was on the brink of crying,my father always told me"please stand up from where you fall down!" yes,we must stand up from where we fall down. that was a special mid night in 1993.expectations filled our hearts. we stared at the tv,hoping excitedly as the voice would fly to our ears. but at last, each chinese who loves our motherland was distressed to know the result:beijing ,lost to sydeny by a margin of two votes in the olympic hosting petition. eight years have past, but the frustration has not healed with time at all. now,at the begining of the new millennium, all of the pride and disappointment of the 20th century had gone with the wind. the 21st century, which is full of hope, longing znd thought has e. someone said,we would start from zero on. should i really start from zero on? no!i hold that we should go on with ourefferts and ambitions stayed by last century, and make our life better. "new beijing, great olympics!" the voice cries this out around chinas captital,a 3,000 -year-old city these days. beijing, along withparis, istanbul, osake and toronto, has been shortlisted by the international olympic mittee as an official candidate city for the 2014 olympic games. this is beijings second attempt to host the games. everyone fully supports beijings bid for it. maybe,we can paint fences along the main roads of beijing. maybe,we can make much of yhe city cleaned up. maybe,we can learn and speak basic english idioms and expressions for daily munication. but,but are they just enough? facing the new century, mankind is driven by the revolution of science and technoiogy, world economy is undergoing broud and profound changes. but nobody can deny the fact that pared with developed nations, developing countries are confronted with more pressure and challenges.in order to bee famous in the world,we must speed up our international economic restructuring to catch up with industrialized nations. supporting beijings bid is a systematic project that can support chinasdevelopment efforts. i believe recycled pa-pe-r,clean fuel, sorted rubbish,water-saving and enery-efficient facilities will bee reality in the ing years for china. i believe the new century is an era of learning ans teaching, and lifelong education has bee one of the main trends in the future developmet of chinese society. i believe that,on july 13,our dream of beijings olympic bid will bee true. because to millions of chinese, for china to have the gloal respect and support that she deserves is not just a dream. it is a part of our very souls.for we are not only equal members of our motherland, china, but we are also equal contributors to the world as a whole. let us stand together, all nations in beijing,in brotherhood, friendship and peace, in 2014 and forever!
