亮点：本节课通过多种教学方式，充分调动了学生的积极性，比如ｃｏｌｏｒｓｏｎｇ的导入，ｃｈａｎｔ的收尾，及有趣的颜色词组，甚至古诗里的颜色，极大的调动了学生的积极性，课堂效果很好。
尤其是短文编写让学生在短文中对单词有了更深的理解和运用。
单词的拼读注重了学生自学能力和小组合作能力的培养，同时通过各种形式的单词记忆既加深了单词的识记，又学会了部分单词的用法，渗透了本单元的重点话题，达到了预习的目的。
当堂检测的设计更是有效地补充与巩固了词汇的用法。
多媒体教学将原本枯燥的单词教学、句型训练活动化，让学生在愉快的游戏中轻松地学会了英语知识，提高了运用语言的能力，同时在无形中也进行了审美练习，陶冶了情操。
不足之处：一节课的时间毕竟有限，不能面面俱到，还需在以后的复习中查缺补漏和加大检查的广度.单词的书写落实还需加强。
教师的语言还可以更贴近学生的实际能力，尽可能地简单、明白表述每环节、步骤的要求；对于多媒体的应用时机还可以进一步研究。
