高考英语总复习主谓一致专题学案

关于主谓一致一、主谓一致定义主语和谓语要保持人称和数量的一致,比如主语是复数,谓语就用复数;主语是单数,谓语就用单数。
主谓一致通常分为语法一致,语义一致和就近就远原则。
(一)语法一致:主语是单数,谓语用单数;主语是复数,谓语用复数1)to do和doing作主语,谓语动词用单数e.g. To see is to believe.e.g. Seeing is believing.2)当句子主语由many a / more than one / every / each / no... 修饰时,谓语动词用单数e.g. Many a woman is paying attention to the lecture.e.g. More than one student is supposed to take part in the activity.3)以所接名词的单复数为准①修饰词或短语:some / several / a lot of / lots of / plenty of / a couple of ...若接复数名词,谓语用复数;若接不可数名词,谓语用单数。
e.g. A couple of scientists are doing researches about this problem.e.g. Some information online is unhealthy.①分数/百分数后,若接复数名词,谓语用复数;若接不可数名词,谓语用单数。
e.g. Two thirds of the students provide various of reasons for their absence.e.g. Ten percent of furniture is transported from Africa to America.(二)语义一致:形单意复,谓语用复数;形复意单,谓语用单数1)学科名词:以-ics结尾的学科名称、以-s结尾专有名词,如:politics, mathematics, ethics,physics等,谓语用单数。

(二)教材分析主谓一致是我们英语教学中的很重要的一个语法,掌握主谓一致对于学生的英语学习有着至关重要的作用,它渗透到了高考英语的每一部分,特别是在写作和改错部分,如果学生在“主谓一致”这一部分掌握不好,在高考中会失分很多的。
所以我在此课中,在很大比例中加入了高考题的链接,激励学生认真仔细剖析高考题,以便于更好地理解把握“主谓一致”的规则和用法。
(三)教学目标新课标中明确指出:语法教学就是帮助学生提高语言实践活动中的能力。
本节课的教学目标为:激励学生将语法“主谓一致”真正落到实处,学会正确使用与主语一致的谓语动词。
(1)语言知识目标:准确记忆,灵活掌握“主谓一致”相应的规则。
(2)语言技能目标:培养学生在综合实践活动中对“主谓一致”语法规则的运用。
(3)情感态度目标:培养学生的自主学习能力以及合作探究能力。
(4)学习测略目标:主谓一致中的语法规则里需要揣测和理解的,所以这节课我着重帮助学生养成自主探究。
研究归纳语法规则的能力,促使他们保持课前预习,课上合作研究的良好学习习惯。

8.表示重量、距离、金钱、一段时间及由one and a half 修饰的复数名词作主语时, 谓语动词用。
9.以many a或more than one修饰的单数名词,谓语动词用,但其意义是复数性的。
e.g. Many a boy (be)fond of playing football.More than one student (enjoy)folk-music.但more +n复数+ than one作主语时,谓语动词用。
10.由and连接的两个不同概念的名词作主语时,谓语动词用:当and连接的为同一人、事或概念时, 这时and后的名词前没有冠词, 谓语动词用:e.g. The singer and composer (come)to our school.Bread and butter (be)often served for breakfast.Pork and Chinese cabbage (be)one of my favourite dishes.常见的由and连接的指一个概念的有: the needle and thread, salt and water, the folk and knife, soap and water, iron and steel, a watch and chain, the bread and butter, truth and honesty, a cup and saucer (茶托) 等。

(3)“the+形容词”表示一类人在句中作主语时, 谓语动词用复数形式。

(4)a quantity of后既可接不可数名词,也可接可数名词 复数,谓语动词的单复数取决于of后名词的数以及其表 示的意义;quantities of后无论是可数名词还是不可数名 词,谓语动词均用复数形式。

(2)由there, here引起的主语不止一个时,谓语动词 的数通常和最邻近的主语保持一致。 There are three books and a pen on the desk. 桌子上有三本书和一支钢笔。

2.意义一致原则
意义一致原则是指不管主语的形式是单数还是复数, 主语的意义决定了谓语动词的单复数。
(1)集体名词作主语时,若被看作一个整体,谓语动词 用单数形式;若被看作是构成集体的一个个成员,谓 语动词用复数形式。常见的集体名词有:family, class, team, group, public, committee, government, audience 等。

寻其规律,大致可归纳为三个原则,即语法一致、逻辑意义一致和就近一致原则。
(一)语法一致原则:语法上一致就是谓语动词和主语在单、复数形式上保持一致。
1、以单数名词或代词、动词不定式短语、动名词短语或从句作主语时,谓语动词一般用单数形式;主语为复数时,谓语动词用复数形式。
如:His father is working on the farm. / To study English well is not easy. / What he said is very important for us all. / The children were in the classroom two hours ago. / Reading in the sun is bad for your eyes.注意:由what引导的主语从句,后面的谓语动词多数情况用单数形式,但若表语是复数或what从句是一个带有复数意义的并列结构时,主句的谓语动词用复数形式。
如:What I bought were th ree English books. / What I say and do is (are) helpful to you.2、由连接词and或both … and连接起来的合成主语后面,要用复数形式的谓语动词。
如:Lucy and Lily are twins. / She and I are classmates. / The boy and the girl were surprised when they heard the news. / Both she and he are Young Pioneers.注意:①若and所连接的两个词是指同一个人或物时,它后面的谓语动词就应用单数形式。

三.就近一致原则Neither...nor...,either...or...,whether...or...,or,not only/just...but (also)...,not...but...连接两个名词或代词作主语,或在There/Here be句型中,谓语动词形式应与它最近的主语保持一致。
eg:①Not you but your sister is to blame.②There is a pen and two pencils on the desk.(比较:There are two pencils and a pen on the desk.)四.就前(远)一致原则主语结构为“主语+with/together with/along with/without/as well as/like/except/but/besides/rather than/including/not/perhaps/maybe短语等”作定语时,谓语动词形式就前一致。

一、语法一致原则主语的单复数决定了谓语动词的单复数。
1.动名词、动词不定式、从句、不定代词作主语时,谓语动词常用单数。
Listening to music makes me relaxed after a busy day.听音乐使我在一天的忙碌之后得到了放松。
Everything is in a complete mass,which drives people crazy.所有的事情都毫无头绪,让人发疯。
[名师指津] what引导的从句作主语时,谓语动词一般用单数形式,但如果从句表示复数意义,则谓语动词用复数形式。
What he said is far from the truth.他的话与事实相差太远了。
What the school needs are qualified teachers.这个学校需要的是合格的老师。
2.主语后接介词短语或其他插入语,如with,together with,as well as,like,but,except,along with,rather than,including,in addition to等,谓语动词的数要与前面的主语保持一致。
The teacher as well as his students was very excited.老师和他的学生们都很兴奋。
I think Tom,rather than you is to blame for the accident.我认为是汤姆而不是你该为这起事故负责任。
3.and,both...and...连接两个不同的主语,谓语动词用复数形式;但是如果由and 连接的两个名词表示同一概念,兼具身份或匹配出现时,谓语动词用单数形式。
Her teacher and her friends are in the sitting-room.她的老师和朋友都在客厅。
The poet and writer has produced many works.这位诗人兼作家写出了许多作品。
A knife and fork is used on the table in western countries.刀叉被用在西方国家的餐桌上。
4.定语从句中关系代词作主语时,从句中的谓语动词要与先行词保持一致。
My friend showed me around the town,which was very attractive.我的朋友带我参观了这个小镇,它非常迷人。
5.“many a/more than one+单数名词”作主语,谓语动词用单数。
each,every,no所修饰的名词作主语时,即使有and连接,谓语动词仍用单数。
Many a parent has had to go through this same painful process.很多父母都被迫经历了这一段相同的痛苦的过程。
Every boy and every girl wishes to attend the party to be held on Sunday.每个男生和女生都希望参加即将在周日举办的聚会。
二、意义一致原则意义一致原则指不管主语的形式是单数还是复数,主语的意义决定了谓语动词的单复数。

A number of students have gone for an outing.许多学生去远足了。
The number of the students is increasing year after year.学生的数量逐年增加。
6.表示时间、距离、重量、金额等复数名词作主语时,谓语动词通常用单数形式。
Three thousand dollars is quite a lot of money for a boy.对于一个男孩来说,3 000美元是一笔大数目。
7.以-s/-ics结尾的学科名词及news作主语时,谓语动词用单数形式。
Bad news travels quickly.[谚]坏事传千里。
三、就近一致原则就近一致原则指谓语动词的单复数形式取决于离它最近的主语的单复数。
1.由or,either...or...,neither...nor...,not only...but (also)...,not...but...等连接的并列主语,谓语动词的数常与最近的主语保持一致。
Either you or one of your students is to attend the meeting that is due tomorrow.要么是你或者你的一名学生应该出席明天的会议。
2.由there,here引起的主语不止一个时,谓语动词的数通常和最邻近的主语保持一致。
