With a couple of touches on our mobile phone, we’re able to get a q uick fix and present the “best” pictures of ourselves to the world. However, the problem is, when we simply edit our imperfections away, we’re also changing the way we look at our ourselves. The article listed the bad effects of photo editing on people and the possibility to cause appearance worries. 农场研学英语作文一般将来时

农场研学英语作文一般将来时Title: The Future of Farming: A Study in English. In the not-so-distant future, farming will undergo a transformation that is both exciting and necessary. As the world continues to grapple with issues such as climate change, resource scarcity, and population growth, the traditional methods of farming are becoming increasingly unsustainable. However, with the help of technology and innovation, the future of farming promises to be more efficient, sustainable, and profitable. One of the most significant changes we will see in the future of farming is the increasing use of technology. Smart farming, or precision agriculture, is already becoming a reality with the help of advanced technologies such as drones, sensors, and satellites. These tools allow farmers to monitor their crops in real-time, track their growth, and identify any potential problems early on. This not only helps farmers make better decisions but alsoreduces waste and increases yields.Another key aspect of the future of farming is the move towards more sustainable practices. As the world becomes increasingly aware of the need to protect our environment, farmers are being encouraged to adopt practices that are kinder to the land and more in tune with nature. This could include using organic fertilizers instead of chemicals, conserving water, and planting a diverse range of crops to maintain soil health. Moreover, the future of farming will also see a shift towards more vertical and indoor farming. With the help of technology, it is now possible to grow crops indoors, in controlled environments, without the need for large amounts of land. This not only reduces the pressure on land resources but also allows for the production of crops in areas that were previously unsuitable for farming.Vertical farming, in particular, has the potential to revolutionize the way we grow food. By stacking layers of plants in vertical towers, it is possible to significantlyincrease the amount of food produced in a small space. This could lead to the development of urban farms that provide fresh, locally-grown food to cities, reducing the need for long-distance transportation and reducing food waste. In addition to these technological advancements, the future of farming will also see a focus on more inclusive and community-based approaches. Farmers' markets, community-supported agriculture (CSA) programs, and other forms of direct-to-consumer sales are becoming increasingly popular. These models not only provide farmers with a more stable income but also allow consumers to connect directly with the people who grow their food, understanding the stories behind their meals. Moreover, the future of farming will also involve a greater focus on diversity and inclusivity. As the world becomes more interconnected, there is an increasing recognition of the value of diverse crop varieties and farming practices. This could lead to the development of more mixed and polyculture systems that are more resilient to climate change and provide a range of benefits tofarmers and communities. In conclusion, the future of farming is bright and full of potential. With the help of technology, innovation, and a focus on sustainability and inclusivity, we can create a more efficient, profitable, and environmentally-friendly food system that benefits everyone. As we move into this exciting new era of farming, it is important that we continue to learn, adapt, and collaborate to ensure that we can meet the challenges of the future and secure a sustainable food supply for all.。
关于农学的英语作文

关于农学的英语作文英文回答:As a student studying agriculture, I have always been fascinated by the world of farming and crop production. Agriculture is not just about planting seeds and harvesting crops, it is a complex and intricate science that requires a deep understanding of soil health, plant biology, and environmental factors. One of the most important aspects of agriculture issoil health. Healthy soil is essential for successful crop production, as it provides the necessary nutrients and support for plant growth. By understanding the composition of the soil and how to improve its fertility, farmers can ensure that their crops will thrive. In addition to soil health, plant biology is another crucial component of agriculture. Different crops have different needs when it comes to water, sunlight, andnutrients. For example, corn requires a lot of nitrogen to grow, while tomatoes need a steady supply of water to produce juicy fruits. By understanding the biology of plants, farmers can tailor their growing practices to meet the specific needs of each crop.Environmental factors also play a significant role in agriculture. Climate, weather patterns, and pestinfestations can all have a major impact on crop production. For example, a sudden frost can damage delicate fruit trees, while a drought can wither fields of wheat. Farmers must constantly monitor these factors and adapt their practices accordingly to ensure a successful harvest.Overall, agriculture is a challenging yet rewardingfield of study. By combining scientific knowledge with practical skills, farmers can feed the world and contribute to the sustainability of our planet.中文回答:作为一名学习农学的学生,我一直对农业和作物生产的世界感到着迷。
最新高一年级英语阅读理解专项练习及答案(50篇)

高中阅读理解专项训练附答案解析1篇Any foreigner who has tried to learn Chinese can tell how hard it is to master the tones required to speak and understand. And anyone who has tried to learn to play the violin or other instruments can report similar challenges. Now researchers have found that people with musical training have an easier time learning Chinese.Writing in the online edition of Nature Neuroscience, researchers from Northwestern University say that both skills draw on the same parts of the brain that help people discover changes in pitch(音调).One of the study's authors, Nina Kraus, said the findings suggested that studying music “actually tunes our sensory system”.This means that schools that want children to do well in languages should hesitate before cutting music programs, Dr.Kraus said. She said music training might also help children with language problems.Mandarin speakers have been shown to have a more complex encoding(编码)of pitch patterns in their brains than English speakers do.This is because in Mandarin and other Asian languages, pitch plays a central role.A single-syllable word can have several meanings depending on how it is intoned. For this study, the researchers looked at 20 non-Chinese speaking volunteers, half with no musical background and half who have studied an instrument for at least six years. As they were shown a movie, the volunteers also heard an audio tape of the Mandarin word “mi” in three of its meanings: squint, bewilder and rice. The researchers recorded activities in their brain stems to see how well they were processing the sounds. Those with a music background showed much more brain activities in response to the Chinese sounds. The lead author of the study, Patrick C.M.Wong, said it might work both ways.It appears that native speakers of tonal languages may do better at learning instruments.1.Why does Chinese learning have something to do with music training?A.Because there is the same difficulty in learning Chinese and music.B.Because skills to learn the two make use of the same parts of the brain.C.Because music training might help people with language study.D.Because people who do well in Chinese study do well in music.2.The underlined word “intoned” in the fourth paragraph can be replaced by the word“________”.A.created B.spelledC.seemed D.pronounced3.What would be the best title for this passage?A.Mandarin Speakers Are Smarter Than English SpeakersB.Skilled Ear for Music May Help Language StudyC.Pitch Plays a Central Role in Chinese LearningD.Schools Need to Develop Music Programs【答案】1.B2.D3.B【分析】这是一篇说明文。

如何将理论与实践相结合的英语作文

如何将理论与实践相结合的英语作文How to Make Learning Fun by Mixing Book Smarts and Hands-On ActivitiesHi there! My name is Jamie, and I'm a 5th grader who loves learning new things. But I have to admit, sometimes just reading about stuff in textbooks can get a little boring. That's why I've found that the best way to really understand what I'm studying is to mix in some fun, hands-on activities along with the book learning. Let me explain what I mean!In science class, we've been studying about ecosystems and how all the living and non-living things are connected in an environment. Instead of just reading about it, our teacher had us create our own mini ecosystem in a bottle! We took a plastic bottle and put in some soil, little pebbles, a couple bugs, a plant seedling, and a bit of water. Then we sealed it up tight.Over the next few weeks, we got to watch our little ecosystem develop. The plant started growing, using the nutrients from the soil and water. The bugs helped break down rot and decaying matter. We saw condensation forming and falling like rain. It was so cool to see the whole cycle happening right before our eyes!Making that mini ecosystem helped me understand so much better how everything fits together in nature. I could actually see and watch the processes we had read about, instead of just trying to picture it in my head from the textbook descriptions and diagrams. The hands-on part brought the book learning alive. In math, we've been working on data and statistics, reading charts and graphs. But it's hard to really get what it all means just staring at numbers and line plots on paper. That's why I liked it when we did a survey of our favorite ice cream flavors and made our own graphs and charts to display the results. We first had to come up with a list of flavors to include in our survey, like chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, mint chip, and so on. Then each of us walked around the classroom asking everyone to vote for their favorite flavor. Afterwards, we tallied up the results and used that data to create bar graphs and pie charts showing the percentages for each flavor's popularity.Making those visual displays of data helped me see how the numbers and statistics translate into real, concrete information. I could look at my pie chart and instantly understand that chocolate was the most preferred flavor, while something like butter pecan was one of the least liked. It started making sensewhy businesses study data and statistics - so they can figure out what products people want to buy most!Another example was in history class when we were learning about colonial American daily life and occupations. We didn't just read about the different jobs like blacksmithing,candle-making, farming, and so forth. Our teacher had different stations set up around the classroom, and we got to try out some hands-on activities related to each job.At the blacksmithing station, we practiced hammering and bending pipe cleaners into shapes, kind of like how a blacksmith works hot metal. The candle-making area let us dip our own candle wicks into melted wax. Over at the farming spot, we ground up corn kernels using a mortar and pestle to make cornmeal, just like they did back then.Getting to do those little tasks myself helped me understand and appreciate how much hard labor and skill went into performing those colonial jobs way before modern technology. Just reading about "blacksmithing" in a book didn't really give me a feel for the intense arm strength required to hammering scorching metal all day long. But once I tried hammering those pipe cleaners for just a couple minutes, I realized how tiring that work must have been.So as you can see, mixing theoretical book learning with fun, practical activities is the best way for me to really grasp topics and concepts. The hands-on parts cement the knowledge in my mind and give me a deeper level of understanding than just reading alone.Looking ahead, I'm really excited for when we start our unit on simple machines and engineering principles in science. I have no doubt we'll get to build some cool contraptions like levers, pulleys, and catapults to experience those concepts in action. I'm sure building them myself will make all the mechanics click into place way better than just seeing diagrams or descriptions in a book.Same goes for when we get to the section on ecosystems and food webs in biology later this year. I'll never forget that bottle ecosystem we made, and I'm hoping we'll get to do something just as interactive and engaging when studying that topic. Maybe we could even take a field trip to observe a real ecosystem! So that's my philosophy - whenever possible, put down the textbooks and do some hands-on activities to experience what you're learning about in real life! That mix of book smarts and practical exploration is the best way to make sure concepts andlessons really stick. It's way more fun and interesting than just reading or listening to lectures.Every subject is easier to understand when you can literally grasp it in your hands and tinker with it yourself. So pay attention in class, read those chapters...but also get ready to get your hands dirty, build some models, and prepare to learn through doing! Learning doesn't have to be all bookwork if you inject some interactive activities. That hands-on part makes all the difference in making sense of difficult topics. Mix theory and practice, and school becomes an exciting, engaging adventure of knowledge!。
一分耕耘一分收获的英语作文范文
一分耕耘一分收获的英语作文范文全文共10篇示例,供读者参考篇1One Step at a Time Leads to SuccessHey guys, do you know the saying "One step at a time leads to success"? It means that if we work hard bit by bit, we will achieve our goals in the end. Just like farming, if we take the time to plant and take care of the crops, we will eventually reap a good harvest.I remember when I was younger, I used to struggle with my English class. I couldn't understand the grammar rules and my vocabulary was limited. But I didn't give up! I worked hard every day, studying a little bit at a time. I practiced reading English books, listening to English songs, and speaking with my friends in English. It was tough at first, but I didn't give up.Slowly but surely, I started to see improvements in my English skills. My grades went up, I could hold conversations in English with my classmates, and I even started to enjoy learning the language. It was all because I put in the effort, little by little, every day. Now, whenever I face a challenge or a goal that seems out of reach, I remember the saying "One step at a time leads to success". I know that if I work hard and stay determined, I will eventually achieve my dreams. So guys, don't give up! Keep pushing forward, one step at a time, and you will see the results of your hard work. Believe in yourself, and success will come your way!篇2One minute in the class, ten hours of play. This is a common phrase we often hear, right? But do you know the saying "One inch of time, one inch of gold, time can't be bought with gold?" It means that effort and hard work always pay off in the end. Just like what our parents and teachers always tell us, "One minute of hard work, one minute of success."When we were young, we might not understand the importance of hard work. We just wanted to play and have fun all day long. But as we grow older, we start to realize that nothing comes easy in life. In order to achieve our dreams and goals, we need to put in the effort and work hard. For example, when we have a test at school, we can't just expect to get a good grade without studying. We need to spendtime reviewing our notes, doing practice problems, and asking our teachers for help. Only then can we be successful and get the results we want.In sports, too, we need to practice and train regularly in order to improve our skills. We can't just show up at a game or competition and expect to win without putting in the effort. Hard work, determination, and perseverance are the keys to success in any endeavor. So let's remember the saying "One inch of time, one inch of gold" and always strive to work hard and give our best in everything we do. With dedication and effort, we can achieve anything we set our minds to. So let's roll up our sleeves, put in the work, and reap the rewards of our hard work. Remember, one minute of hard work, one minute of success!篇3One day, I heard a story from my teacher about the saying "No pain, no gain". She said it means if we work hard and put in effort, we will see good results. It's like planting seeds in a garden - if we don't take care of them, they won't grow into beautiful flowers.I thought about this saying for a long time and realized that it's true. If we want to do well in school, we have to study hard and pay attention in class. If we want to be good at sports, we have to practice and train regularly. In every aspect of life, we have to put in effort in order to see success.I decided to try this out in my own life. I started studying for my tests earlier and asking my teacher questions when I didn't understand something. I also joined the soccer team and practiced every day after school. At first, it was hard and I felt tired, but I didn't give up. I kept pushing myself and working hard. And you know what? I started to see results. My grades improved, and I scored my first goal in a soccer game. I felt so proud of myself and realized that hard work really does pay off.So, remember, my friends, that one point of effort leads to one point of success. Keep working hard and never give up. You will achieve great things if you just believe in yourself and keep pushing forward.篇4One day, my teacher told us a story about a farmer who worked hard every day in the fields. The farmer would wake upearly in the morning, plow the fields, plant the seeds, water the plants, and take care of them. He worked tirelessly, never giving up even when the sun was hot and the work was tough. At the end of the season, the farmer was able to harvest a bountiful crop of fruits and vegetables. The farmer was so happy and proud of his hard work paying off. He knew that his effort and dedication had led to his success. The story of the farmer taught me an important lesson – that hard work pays off. Just like the farmer, we need to put in the effort and time to achieve our goals. We need to be patient and persistent, even when things get tough. It may seem like a long and difficult journey, but in the end, we will reap the rewards of our labor.I have applied this lesson to my own life, whether it's studying for a test, practicing a sport, or learning a new skill. I know that if I work hard and stay focused, I will see the results. It may not always be easy, but the feeling of accomplishment and success is worth all the effort. So remember, one step at a time, one small effort after another, and soon enough, you will see the fruits of your labor. Just like the farmer, one small step at a time, one small effort after another, and soon enough, you will see the fruits of yourlabor. Keep going, never give up, and success will come your way.篇5Title: Hard work pays offHi everyone! Today I want to talk about an important saying: "" which means "Hard work pays off" in English. I made sure to write out the words multiple times and practice with my friends. When I got my test back, I got a perfect score! I was so happy because all my hard work paid off.So, remember to always give your all in everything you do. Farming and StudyingEveryone holds different ideas about the relationship between farming and studying. Some people hold the idea that the process of farming is similar to the success of studying in university. On the contrary, others are not in favo r’s far as I am concerned, I side with the former.First of all, sowing the seeds is the same as building the basis of studying. As we all know, sowing depends on soil area which looks like the process of choosing major that suits us. Once we sow the seeds in a fertile and damp area. Seeds can come into next process easily, or fail. Of course, when we start to study in a correct and interesting subject, do not you think it is easier for us to touch the deeper field of studying? Second farming comes to the process of nurturing growth which seems to be the most important situation. Similarly, studying meets with the process of improving. During this process, farming needs enough sunshine, water and air. All of them must be under control carefully. Only in that way can the plants grow higher and higher, stronger and stronger.Meanwhile, when you study in this process. You had better be diligent, smart and carefully, which can help you improve your mark as soon as possible. These three factors are like water, sunshine and air. You should control yourself with them .Just like plants need enough water, air and sunshine rather than the most, or you will be caught by the worst influence. At last, it is time to harvest. after a tiring and long process of farming, it is a kind of prize for your dilligence. It seems that there is nothing difficult for us to do it.However, what you need to worry.about and what you should do are thinking over the wrong way along the process of studying and try your best to correct it.Above all, farming makes friends with studying. They share a lot of things in common. When you lose yourself on the way of studying, just think over the development of farming, I am sure you will get an amazing result.BE092吴强1999正(2)Competition, the Key PointIn our daily life, for solving all kinds of problems, we may meet with co-operation and competition every day. So most of people are interested in comparing co-operation with competition. Some people think that competition is more important than co-operation. While others are in favor of the opinion that co-operation is more important .In my opinion, I agree with the first opinion.Firstly, competition can arouse your potential ability more easily. As we all know, it is said that there is no competition, there will be no progress. Competing with others, you may pay attention to various ways of improving yourself. To defeat your competors, you will try tour best to prepare yourself. During this long process, the ability inside works a lot. This is your own potential ability. You can reach your goal with it.Luckily,it origins from the competition instead of co-operation.Second,competition follows the step of social development. Nowadays, competition become more and more .As a modern role, we should compete for jobs, love even life Only when we can defeat others can we get a stable way to work, love or live. On the contrary, co-operation emphasizes team work. That means we should share happiness or problems together. However,we cannot always work with others in the rest of life. So it is bad for us to rely on others. Meanwhile, there are few real leaders. This is mainly because of competition ability. If you want to follow the step of society development, you had better pay much attention to competition. At last, competition makes you firmer and firmer. It is a process of challenge. Besides that, it is very easy for us to get into trouble along the way. If you hold on, the wall of problems may be broken.Otherwise, you may fail easily. For avoiding that ,we hadbetter make ourselves firm. Competition tells us to hold. So I would like to say competition can make us firm. All in all, competition plays more important role than co-operation in our daily life. You had better pay more attention to competition than co-operation to achieve your dreams or your goals. Because competition is the key to success. Have a try.BE092吴强2002(3)The Most Important Quality of aUniversity StudentAs a university student, we have lots of strong points and short-comings We are creative and outgoing, but most o us are also lazy and pride. For inheriting good habits ad avoiding bad ones, I am in favor o the opinion that diligence is the most important oneFirst, diligence can guarantee your good mark. Most of lazy fresh men hold the idea that it is unnecessary or us to study in a college. Here is the place full of entertainment, which is totally terrible idea. This is mainly because of their laziness. They always think that studying is so tiring and boring. What they really want to do is relaxing themselves. However, diligence can help you forget this. By studying constantly, you may id that study has its own interest and advantages. Then you will naturally all in love with study and get a good mark. Second, diligence can help you live a colorful college life. In university, most students live a boring life, they are interested in spending time on playing computer games or surfing the Internet in their beds. Diligence may directly promote you to do some exercises outside instead of inthe bed. How about volleyball, basketball and football .Besides that, diligence will surely warn you of finding a part-time job in society. In a word, because of diligence, your life in college will become colorful. At last, diligence can bring good relationship to you. If you are a diligent guy, you are willing to help others. During winter, you may be interested in fetching water for others. When your classmates fall ill, you will surly help them without any complaints. Then most of students are likely to make friends with you.In a word, diligence is the most important personal quality of a university student. On the other hand, diligence is also one of the most Chinese traditional qualities. From this aspect, we should become diligent. My dear students, it is time to be diligent. Don not rely on your laziness any more.BE092吴强1(4)A Tale For MyselfMost of my friends are interested in describing my characters. Some of them hold the idea that Wuqiang Isa negative and silent guy.
