一.指导思想:
朗读是英语学习过程中较为重要的部分。

坚持朗读可以提高发音的准确性和语言的节奏感,形成良好的语音语调;坚持朗读可以培养学生的英语语感。

为了让学生能重视朗读,也为了今后更好地学习英语,特举办本次朗读比赛。

二、参赛须知
各参赛同学必须遵守演讲比赛相关规定,按时参加赛前抽签、比赛。

参赛要求:第一名参赛同学必须在赛前3分钟到评委席抽签。

各参赛同学必须严格遵守比赛规则,在比赛过程中,若有,由评委会裁定。

各参赛队伍及相关班级均须遵守会场纪律,不起哄,不喝倒彩,做文明参与者。

三、具体安排:本次活动为个人朗读比赛。

(一)时间:2011年11月17日晚自习
(二)地点:本班
(三)参加对象:八年级全体学生

具体要求如下:
1、语音语调(7分)
2 锻炼英语的发音,语调与节奏。

3 充分应用读书四到:眼到,口到,耳到,心到——比默读时更能记住所读的教材。

我们也可以说朗读是会话的基本练习,没有朗读习惯的人是很难学成会话的。

4 朗读长句时,可在“词组”之间稍做停顿。

在朗读中可能出现的另一个问题就是断句。

由于句子长,无法一口气读完,往往有急促或断续的现象,句子被读的支离破碎,非常不自然。

也有人在句中随意停顿,或停顿的地方不当,自己读起来极不通顺悦耳,听的人也会觉得不知所云。

长句中有短暂的停顿,藉以调和呼吸,这是自然的现象,但停顿的地方必须恰到好处。

通常在:A. 有标点符号的地方;B.词组或思想单元之间。

今年的比赛已经结束,本次活动的开展激发了学生学习英语的兴趣,同时也丰富了学生的课余生活,进一步推动了我校的英语教学工作。
