国外顶级期刊
最近看到一些国外的论坛在讨论顶尖经济学期刊，援引Journal of Economic Theory自己主页上的话：JET is the leading journal in economic theory. It is also one of nine core journals in all of economics. Among these journals, the Journal of Economic Theory ranks fourth in impact-adjusted citations.顶尖的经济学期刊似乎公认有9个，国外那些论坛上谈到了众所周知的Top5，剩下的四个似乎没有定论。
但按照非常有分量的诺贝尔奖工作发表的分布来看，个人认为似乎如下9个期刊应该可以算作经济学最为顶尖的综合经济类杂志了。
1、American Economic Review，2、Econometrica，3、Journal of Political Economy，4、Quarterly Journal of Economics，5、Review of Economic Studies，6、Economic Journal，7、Journal of Economic Theory，8、Rand Journal of Economics，9、Economica这里没有将Review of Economics and Statistics排进去，实际上是Rand Journal of Economics将其代替了（其早期被称为大名鼎鼎的Bell journal of economics）。
如果没有萨缪尔森，Review of Economics and Statistics可能并不会太出彩，按其自己网站上的说法，毕竟仅偏好实证。
将Economica排进去的原因是哈耶克、罗宾斯、科斯的原因，这三位学者的早期著名工作都发表在这个期刊，罗宾斯为主编。
