一、感想
当初选这门课，起初完全是为了跟几个好朋友一起上课。
并且抱着一种侥幸心理，想着选修课混着拿个学分就算了。
但是当我上完第一节课之后，我就对这门课产生了一种强烈的兴趣。
因为老师对课堂内容讲授的很认真、详细，很容易让掌握。
充分调动了我们的学习积极性。
我觉得作为大三的学生，已经基本学习完了无机化学、有机化学、分析化学、物理化学四大化学，所以很有必要来学习专业英语，此可以将我们之前学习的一些反应类型、化合物、酸、碱、盐以及有机物的命名等用它们对应的英文形式写出来，这种专业英语很容易理解和记忆；再加上老师给出的一些归纳和总结，让我们在每堂课上都能有效的掌握新知识，老师每次边上课，也会提醒我们记笔记，随堂会让我做练习，巩固了我们对化学相关资料的英汉互译能力。
这些都让我有了之前课堂学习中没有的那种学习的感觉，也让我不再觉得它是一门选修课，老师的认真负责让我也对自己的学习有了认真负责的态度，所以在每次课后，课前我都会认真看自己的笔记。
在大学里，这样认真备课，督促学生认真学习的老师有，可是专业英语的老师更加负责，我学习这门课后，有时候看到课本上相关英语，会不由的记下来，有了这种学习的兴趣。
所以说，兴趣是最好的老师，是万老师让我有了学习化学专业英语的兴趣。

老师的上课方式很好了。
这里就我个人的学习情况，给老师提一个小建议：老师可以在每次上完新课后，在可见后面加一页关于本节课所学内容的课后作业PPT，这样可以督促我们在课后也及时巩固练习所学知识。
三、总结
由于当前大部份化学资料的写作语言是英文，因此，对于化学相关专业，化学
专业英语课程的开设必不可少。
专业英语这门课程综合了无机化学、有机化学、分析化学、物理化学、化工基础以及化学文献等方面的主要内容，着重提高学生化学专业方面的英语能力。
老师通过课堂教学使我们掌握大多数化学元素的名称；掌握无机化学、有机化学、分析化学、物理化学、化工基础等方面的基础词汇；掌握氧化物、酸、碱、盐、烷、烯、炔、醇、酚、酮、羧酸、胺、醚、酯等物质的I U P A C命名方法以及部分俗名；能基本阅读化学专业的英文文献，初步具有用英语书写化学专业方面的短文的能力，掌握科技英语一般性表达方法、行文习惯和阅读技巧。
所以本学期每周二晚上的专业英语课，给了我们对化学知识学习的另
一种热情。
不同年级的同学组成一个班，大家在老师的认真授课下，每个人都认真学习每一个知识点。
虽然仅仅一个学期的学习，但我们学到了很实用的知识，同时也培养了一种认真学习的态度。
这些专业英语的知识让我们初步学会了读文献，它对我们写论文有很大的帮助。
