教师肢体语言在小学英语教学中的作用为提高小学的英语教学效果,很多老师经过长期的教学实践,付出了相当的努力,总结出许多行之有效的方式方法,肢体语言就是其中一个很重要的一种方式。

所谓肢体语言,是指通过身体各部分能为人所见的活动来进行表达和交流,也可称之为体态语或无声语言。

它主要包括手势、眼神、动作及姿态等,通过肢体语言的运用及其有声语言的有机结合,能达到“眉来眼去传情意,举手投足皆语言”的境地。

通过近年来的教学实践工作,笔者深切的体会到教师的肢体语言在英语教学中的作用.特别是针对低年级学生的教学,更是能起着事半功倍的效果。

一、运用肢体语言可以提高学生的注意力低年级的学生在学习新知识的时候,往往开始时兴趣很浓,反应也很快,和教师的交流也主动积极,但由于年龄等各方面的原因,他们的注意力很难长时间的集中。

此时如果在教学中能够充分利用肢体语言,就可以极大地集中他们的注意力,增强学习的主动性,提高课堂质量。

例如,在组织学生学习动物名称单词时,当孩子们看到动物卡片后,已经产生了一定的兴趣,对接受新单词也做好了心理准备。

在教授lion(狮子)时,我会先出示lion的卡片再示范发音,然后让学生一起跟读,再个别跟读。

在每个孩子都会发音后,我没有再示范发音,而是嘴里发音手上做出狮子抓小动物的动作,脸上的表情很凶猛,孩子们看我的眼神中都充满了惊恐,而且还能非常踊跃的用英语来告诉我lion 的发音。

我发现当老师在使用肢体语言来诠释新单词时,孩子们的注意力更加集中了,效果也是更加的明显。

又如,我在每次课堂英语活动正式开始前做热身活动,唱一首英语歌或朗诵一首小诗,边唱或朗诵边和孩子们握手、击掌或拥抱等,不仅可以吸引所有孩子的注意力,还能让他们放松心情,如沐春风,减轻他们惧怕英语的心理负担,对学习英语充满信心。

同时小学英语是学生学习英语的启蒙阶段,在课堂中学习起来非常困难,再加上我校处于城乡结合处,学生的父母大多知识水平有限,对语文数学的辅导都很难,对英语就更加感到头痛了。

还有的家长有一种错误的思想,认为孩子长大后不出国,学习英语无用,这就更加重了学生(特别是学习英语有困难的学生)对英语学习的抵触。

因此我们在教学中应充分考虑到学生的年龄特征,学习和生活环境。

合理设计教学方法。

充分应用非语言所具有的鲜明性,辅助性,和原始性的特点,创造性的使用教材,肢体语言是富有表现力的特殊语言,它能够增强语言的生动性,激发学生的学习兴趣,维系他们的注意力,提高学习效率。

其优越性表现为:1 、肢体语言的形象性便于学生接受新知识。

教学时,如果枯燥的领读、跟读,学生很快就会产生厌烦情绪。

而如果运用手势表示大小写字母,或者让学生想象怎样用手势表示字母,则会很快调动起学生的积极性。

2 、肢体语言的分析性利于学生理解新容。

让学生以小组为单位,边做动作边说句子,编成情景短剧的式进行表演,使学生在短时间采用联想记忆掌握这些句型,效果非常好。

这些方法能极大的提高学生学习英语的兴趣,提高教学效率。

3 、肢体语言能活跃课堂气氛,提高学生学习兴趣。

教师有意识的挖掘英语课中的兴趣点,讲课时运用适当的动作,给学生以亲切的微笑、和善的神情都可以摆脱和缓解学生的心理障碍,激发学生开口模仿的欲望,直观生动的体态语能深深吸引学生的兴趣。

二、研究容1、将肢体语言与教学相结合,使肢体语言在英语教学中得到广泛应用。

语言学家grant hennings认为,课堂教学效果的82%都是通过教师的表情、举止等人体动作实现的,而只有18%的信息是通过语言行为表达的。

一方面,它能完全激励学生学习兴趣,也是与人交流的工具,不需要用我们的发声器官,仅需要身体的参与。

在讲述一些细微的语言概念时,肢体语言能担当非常好的帮手,英语学习也不再枯燥乏味;另一方面,教师能更好的了解学生,了解他们的思想、行为。

而且肢体语言缩小了师生间的差距。

再者,能帮肋教师达到更高的教学目标,能促进师生间的互相了解。

可见非语言交际,尤其是肢体语言对英语课堂教学有着重要的影响。

2、研究肢体语言的应用,提高小学英语课堂教学效率。

教师如果能够学会如何在课堂上更有效地运用肢体语言,师生之间的关系就会得到改善,学生的认知能力和学习效率也会得到提高。

然而小学生年龄小,自制力相对较差,注意力不易集中,抽象思维不够发达,再加上英语对他们来说是一个非常陌生的学科,他们更多的是对英语的好奇:什么是英语?英语有意思吗?这样,如果教师在课堂上只是按部就班地把英语知识强行灌输给这些小学生,他们就会感到厌烦,丧失对英语的兴趣,从而导致小学英语课堂教学效率低下。

而教师运用好肢体语言,就可以有效解决这些问题。

那么,如何运用肢体语言提高小学英语课堂教学效率呢?⑴、用好眼神正如一句谚语所说,眼睛是心灵的窗户。

因此,在互相传达给对方的信息和情感时通过眼神接触我们能感受到对方的一整个变化过程。

在日常生活中有许多地方是需要用眼神去交流的,如凝视,密切注视等。

因此,“眼对眼”的交流可以更好地、真正地了解对方的观点。

教师在课堂教学中,如果能恰当的使用眼神,教学效果肯定良好。

⑵、控制身体距离顾名思义,身体的距离指的是物理距离,就是当人们在相互沟通时要有一定的距离。

换句话说,它是任何两个参与者之间在沟通过程中的距离。

根据心理学家霍尔的研究,在社会和商业环境中有四大主要类型的距离:亲密、个人、社会和公众。

老师给学生信息的部分就是教师与学生之间的距离。

虽然教师不能太接近他们的学生,也不宜让他们站在一个很远的距离。

所以教师控制好师生间的身体距离,对课堂教学很有帮助。

⑶、正确运用面部表情面部表情是指通过面部神态变化来了解信息和感情的一种沟通方式。

它也可以转移别人的情绪。

教师可以把这点恰到好处的运用在课堂教学中,在课堂上根据不同的情况自由地使用面部表情。

例如,当教师提问,他们可以采取利用面部表情来回答学生的一种方法。

如果学生回答正确的答案,教师可以对他们微笑,这样他们会感到很开心快乐。

这会让他们感到有信心,并鼓励他们作出更大的努力,学得更好。

三、研究对象三至六年级全体学生四、研究原则本课题研究要遵循针对性、科学性、实效性、可操作性的原则。

五、研究方法1、实验法:主要用于课堂教育环节;2、文献法:主要用于资料查找;3、调查法:主要用于研究过程中收集反馈信息;4、经验总结法:用于研究成果的总结提炼。

5、个案分析法:典型的学生个别分析。

6、座谈法:与学生访谈,了解此教学模式对学生的学习兴趣、学习态度、个性以展等非智力因素的影响。

7、课题所需经费由所在学校提供。

六、研究措施1、根据小学生生理和心理的特点,有针对性的进行研究工作。

2、根据研究的展开情况,进行相应的经验总结与反思。

3、收集整理教师和学生的信息反馈。

七、研究成效一年来,我们组积极地在英语课堂中使用肢体语言,如头、眼、颈、手、肘、臂、身、胯、足等人体部位的协调活动来传达思想,形象地借以表情达意。

通过运用,学习,总结,收到了如下成效。

(一)、通过肢体语言的使用,增强了我校的英语课堂亲和力。

1、运用肢体语言拉近了我校师生间的情感距离。
