一、说教材
（一）教材分析
教材的地位和作用：
本单元承接八年级下册一单元“What’s the matter?”中
有关情态动词should 的用法，并作进一步的扩展和综合运
用；本课是本单元的第一课时，集中呈现了本单元的基本词
汇和语言结构，因此，本课教学有着承上启下的重要作用。
（二）教学目标
1 Knowledge Objects: 学会使用情态动词should掌握本
课重点词汇
2 Ability Objects 培养学生应用英语谈论日常生活问题，提
高学生听、说、读、写等能力。
3 Moral Objects：通过谈论问题以及给出别人建议，让学
生学会正确评价，客观看待问题。
培养学生学习英语的强烈
兴趣，乐于参加各种活动的积极情感，善于合作.
4 Teaching important and difficult points：
根据教学目标和学生特点，我确立本课的教学重点为：学会一些新词组新短语
难点为：能够运用所学谈论问题和困难，选择或提出建议。
本课主要句型：What should I do?? Why don't you talk to him about it?
（三）对教材的处理
在教材的处理和把握上，始终贯穿“谈论问题、提供建议”这一主线，本着激发兴趣、体验参与、自主学习、学以致用的原则，循序渐进的深化教学内容。
二、说教法与手段
根据本课实用性强、涉及面广、语言运用量大的特点，我确立了如下教学方法和手段：
1.情景教学法，赋予知识和技能训练以真实的情景和语境，调动学生的参与热情。
2.听说读写综合训练，培养语言运用能力。
3.知识导入和任务设计由浅入深、由易到难、循序渐进、逐层拓展。
4.采用多媒体教学手段，增强直观性和趣味性，加大课堂容量。
三．说学法
八年级下期的学生经过一年多的学习，有了一定的英语基础知识和听说能力，正逐渐向读、写过渡，同时，学生们对英语学习还保持着较浓厚的兴趣。
经过一年的新课程理念的熏陶及实践，有了初步的自主、合作、探究、实验的能力。
2.．本单元的主题是谈论如何回答问题及给出建议，可以采用任务型教学法学习新词汇，掌握重点句型，同时能比较好地运用到实践中，解决类似问题。
因此我要引导学生
1. 学会预习：变被动学习为主动学习，带着问题有目的地听课，可以更好地把握课堂的重点和难点，提高课堂效率。
2．在游戏中学习：在“玩中学，学中玩”，好玩是学生的天性，让学生轻松学习，体会学英语原来可以这么有趣，提高学习兴趣与热情。
3．合作学习：积极参与2人或4人小组对话或活动，相互交流，互帮互助，合作完成任务，培养团队精神，更好地掌握本课所学知识。
四、说教学过程
合理的教学过程是教学成功的关键，为了能让学生轻松的进入课堂，在愉悦的气氛中学习知识，在真实的情景中使用知识，在趣味的话题探讨中，积极沟通和交流，最终达成共识。
Step1:Warming up
设计这一环节的目的，是为了激发学生的学习兴趣，活跃课
堂气氛，导出本课中心话题。
首先，我让学生看1a 部分的图片，引导学生谈论说出她们生活中遇到的问题My mother plays CD too loud,I have no money to buy something, I argued with my friend,等等。
并在出现问题的紧要关口，不断重复本课课题：What should I do ? 使学生意识到，这就是碰到麻烦、寻求帮助是要用到的表达方式。
另外，生动愉快的场面，极大的调动了学生的参与热情，活跃了课堂。
Step 2: Stimulated into new class
利用多媒体展示一些图片。
引导学生说出生活中常见的一些问题，老师指着画面问“What’s wrong?”引导学生回答：接着，读出问题：What should he do ?学生们立刻会纷纷发言，谈自己的看法，展开话题。
有的说：He should talk to his mom. 有的说：He should say sorry to him有的说：He should communicate with her parents. 然后，老师归纳总结，把学生们的建议写在黑板上,呈现建议的新句型why don`t you talk to your parents?引导学生用新句型表达自己的建议.
在活动过程中，表现优秀的学生，我会马上表扬：Very good , you’re wonderful. 回答不太好的学生我会及时鼓励：Don’t worry, I think you can do the best next time, yes?
接下来，老师告诉学生，what/ how about +ving..?也可用来提出建议
通过这样的设计，使知识由浅入深，由易到难，层层展开，既学习了新单词，又复习巩固了情态动词should肯定和否定的用法，并学习了可用来提出建议的又一个句型另外，通过图片也让学生对问题的解决有了一些新的认识。

Step4:listening
要求听录音，补全听力对话。
设计这一环节的目的是：以听的方式集中呈现本课的重点词汇和语言结构，考查学生对本课内容的掌握程度，训练听、写能力
Step5: Sum up
在老师的引导下，学生对本课内容归纳总结，进行知识结构复现，在知识、能力、情感等方面畅谈体会和收获，为本课教学划下圆满句号。
