二、教学设计思路：
结合多媒体，利用各方面知识，总结做阅读理解各个方面的知识，从而提升学生在解答阅读理解方面的能力。
三、教学目标
（一）知识目标：
1.能扫清生词障碍，流利朗读课文,理解文章大意。
2.掌握文中重要短语和词汇。
（二）能力目标：
1. 通过朗读，在一定的提示下用自己的话复述课文。
2. 通过阅读文章，引导学生学会总结如何阅读，从而提高自己的阅读能力。
(三) 情感目标
1. 培养学生良好的学习钻研精神；
2. 通过对文章的理解，培养学生保护大熊猫的意识。
四、教材分析：
Unit 7 Section B , 2b ，让学生通过对阅读理解的学习，对阅读技巧Scanning 的充分掌握，进而补充其它方面的阅读技能的培养。
五、学生分析：
八年级学生活泼好动，初步具有一定的思维能力，通过此篇文章的教学，从而开展阅读技能的培养，举一反三，培养学生在学习上的钻研精神，达到理想的教学效果。

精读：

对全文只做一般性的推理、归纳，无需研究细节问题和语法问题。
但要求阅读速度高于精读速度的一倍；
略读：
是一种浏览性阅读，指学生以他能力达到的最快速度浏览阅读材料。
略读是一种跳跃式地读，读文章的主旨段，主旨句以获取文章的主要中心思想和主要内容。
一般来说，略读的速度应快于泛读速度的一倍；
查读：
指一种有目的地查找个别资料的浏览性阅读。
在语篇中查找某一问题的专题信息。
如：在一般的考试中，对数据、年代或某一具体信息的查找。
可先浏览所提问题、明确所需信息，利用此方法阅读速度最为快捷。
