2016年中考作文命题全景观察
综观2016年中考作文题，体现着稳中有变的规律，但仔细研读就会发现，中考作文命题，变的是表述的形式，不变的是命题的规律和写作的主题。综合起来看，2016年中考作文命题，有以下几个特点：
一、命题作文比例持续升高，话题作文几乎退出历史舞台
在2016年笔者收集到的100套试题中，全命题作文35道，半命题作文18道，材料作文11道，话题作文2道（河北卷与山东聊城卷），选题作文33道，主题作文1道（湖北宜昌卷）。
通过这些数据，我们很容易看出，命题作文依旧占有绝对的优势，并有持续上涨的势头，话题作文已经被严重边缘化，材料作文依旧占有一席之地，选题作文的考区逐渐扩大。命题采用小作文和大作文结合形式的考区呈递增之势。
全命题作文中，采用“提示导语+命题”形式的较多。提示导语的作用，在于给考生提供一个可资借鉴的思路。有了这一思路的提示，考生在审题时，就大大节约了时间。例如江苏南通市命题一直坚持“关注自身，走进内心，倾吐真言，记录成长”这一命题导向，多年来采用“诗意导语+全命题”的形式，今年的作文命题依然先推出导语：
