环境工程专业介绍及就业情况一、环境工程专业简介该学科是用应用科学与工程方法来改善环境（包括空气、水、土地资源），进而为人类的居住以及其他生物体提供对健康有益的水、空气以及土壤，也包括污染场所的复育。
我们可经由教育大众、保护环境、订立规定以及应用良好工程实作来减轻与控制对环境的负面影响。
环境工程专业分支大致包括：◆水资源处理与供给◆排水工程◆水污染控制工程◆大气污染控制工程◆固体废弃物的处理与处置◆噪声控制工程◆环境影响评估关于环境工程，美国土木工程师学会环境工程分会发表了如下声明：环境工程通过健全的工程理论与实践来解决环境卫生问题，主要包括：提供安全、可口的公共给水；适当处置与循环使用废水与固体废物；建立城市与农村符合卫生要求的排水系统；控制水、土壤和空气污染，并消除这些问题对社会和环境造成的影响。

故在国内，尤其是工业与经济比较发达的城市，环工专业的前景还是比较广阔的,就业面也广,既可到城市规划院,建筑院,市政设计院从事设计工作,又可到环保局从事管理工作,还可到环境监测部门从事监测和研究工作，例如：◆给排水工程师——专门从事给排水设计工作，起薪2000-3500元/月。
◆项目经理——进行污水处理厂等设施施工的组织、管理、技术指导及监督工作，起薪2500-5000元/月。

当然，虽然明显感觉到本专业人才的需求量在大量扩大;但是对于国内本科毕业生来讲，就业环境确实不是很好。
