1.学习单词eleven和twelve，初步运用early，late，o’clock，home，story，sorry等单词。
2.学习句子：It’s five o’clock.

4.学唱歌曲：What’s the Time in London?
5.功能：整点时间的表达法。

教具准备
1.字母和单词卡片。
2.卡通纸板钟。
3.录音机或教学光盘。
教学步骤
Step 1 Warming up
1.师生互致问候。
2.欣赏歌曲：What’s the Time in London?
Step 2 Revision
1.复习数字one至ten。
（1）全班一起从one数到ten，再从ten倒数到one。
请几位同学单独数数，比比谁数得快。
（2）游戏——报数接力我最快。
游戏规则：每组按“开火车”的方式报数。
学生A说“one”，学生B 说“three…(只报单数)，说到“nine”时，下一个再接回“one”。
也可以只报双数，如：two，four，six…速度的加快，游戏更具挑战性。
2.教师播放各类钟表视频，问学生：“What can you see?”告诉学生钟表可以告诉我们时间。
3.揭示并板书课题：Unit 4 Time Part A
Step 3 Presentation
（一）单词和词组教学
1.教授单词：o’clock。
一阵闹钟响过后，教师指着纸板钟自问自答：“What’s the time？It’s...o’clock.”出示单词卡片o’clock，教学单词o’clock。
2.教授词组：…o’clock。
教师将钟面拨到6点，自问自答：“What’s the time？Six o’clock.”再将钟面拨到8点，说：“What’s the time？Eight o’clock.”继续拨动钟面，请学生根据钟面回答。
如：
教师问：What’s the time?
学生A答：Ten o’clock.
……
3.教授单词：eleven和twelve。
教师拨动钟面至11点，自问自答：“What’s the time？It’s eleven o’clock.”教师出示单词卡片eleven，教学单词eleven。
教师用同样方法教学twelve。
（二）句型教学
1.教授句型：It’s...o’clock.
（1）教师再次拨动钟面至5点，说：“Look. It’s five o’clock.”板书句子，边板书边示范读，然后请个别学生带读。
（2）游戏——整点报时。
游戏规则：教师出示卡通纸板钟面，拨动钟面，学生用最快的速度报出整点时间，速度最快并能准确报时的学生可获得加分。
（三）课文教学
1.教授句子：It’s early. Let’s play.
教师出示纸板钟，将钟面拨到四点半，说：“School is over. Look. What’s the time？It’s four thirty. What does Julia say?”教师让学生翻开课本第23页，播放课文录音或教学光盘，引出句子
“It’s early. Let’s play.”的教学。
2.学习词组：go home。
教师将钟面拨到5点，问：“Now，What’s the time?”学生回答问题后，教师再问：“It’s five o’clock. Are they going home?”教师出示go home卡片，教学go home。
3.学习词组：story book和story books。
教师问：Are they going home?
请学生带着这个问题再次听课文录音或观看教学光盘，引出story book的教学。
教师出示一本故事书，教学story book，再出示若干本故事书，引导学生说出story books。
4.教学句子：You’re late.
教师将钟面拨至6点，说：“Oh，It’s six o’clock. Julia is at home now.”教师继续问：“What does Mom say?”引导学生根据课文内容回答问题，引出句子“You’re late.”
5.再播放课文录音二到三遍，采用全班学生跟读、个别学生或小组跟读的形式学习对话内容。
6.分角色表演对话。
7.巩固练习。
（1）完成课本第24页的Look and say.
（2）游戏——猜猜看。
游戏规则：学生以小组为单位进行比赛，比一比谁猜时间猜得准。
教师将卡通纸板钟背对着学生，然后由教师或学生提问：“What’s the
time?”学生每猜中一次即可为所在小组赢得一分，得分最多的小组即为优胜组。
（3）学唱歌曲：What’s the Time in London?
（四）语音教学
1.复习字母i在开音节和重读闭音节中的读音。
2.复习单词dog，pencil-box，stop。
（1）听录音，跟读单词。
语速由慢到快，可全班读、小组读或个人读。
（2）学生自主读单词，思考单词中的音和形的共同点。
3.学习元音字母o在重读闭音节中的读音。
4.教师再出示几个含有字母o的单词，如：hot，not等，让学生尝试着自己来读一读。
Step 4 Homework
1.听录音，熟读本课内容。
2．完成本课的练习。
3.制作一个纸板钟，和家人用所学句子围绕时间展开问答。
