二、新课展示（Presentation）
1.教师借助Amy和Zhang Peng的头饰向学生介绍引出单词：boy，girl，friend。
2.利用单词卡片教学生认读单词:boys and girls, today, new friends。
3.教师带头饰自我介绍：Hi，I’m Amy. I’m from the UK.借助国旗引导学生认识英国的英语名称。
4.教师点拨：英语中人名、地名和国家名称的首写字母大写的写法。
the UK 是英文缩写形式必须都大写，读作U和K。
6.听课文录音，跟读对话。
三、趣味操练（Practice）
1.学生两人一组分角色练习对话。
2.小组展示：表演对话。
四、作业（Homework）
仿照课文对话，自己创编对话并表演。

第一课时仍然呈现情景对话和练习。

首先吴一凡先向老师介绍新同学，从而引出句型This is Amy. She’s a new student. 老师再和Amy进行交流：Where are you from? I’m from the UK. 从而呈现本单元的重点功能句式，询问并回答自己或他人的国籍、籍贯。
