从近些年的高考英语书面表达题来看，图表作文（尤其是比较型议论文）是近年来高考常考的题型之一。
高中英语议论文的写作，大多有具体要点的限定，所以并不需要如何地旁征博引。
但是，麻雀虽小，五脏俱全，一篇100来字的议论文，同样必须逻辑严密，结构清晰，语言精练，必须论有中心，言而有据。
以下笔者试从篇章结构、语言特点和词汇运用等三个方面来谈一谈写好一篇对比型议论文的基本方法和技巧。
关键词：对比型技巧议论文（一）近几年书面表达的题型特征⑴此类作文的体裁多为议论文﹑应用文或说明文，内容涉及前后变化对比﹑正反观点对比或产品介绍等，最突出的特色就是文字信息化，思维空间化。
所谓对比，就是通过两种或两种以上的不同事物，或者同一种事物的两种不同情况的比较，进行鉴别，从中得出结论。
要求考生通过对数据，文字内容的分析，系统准确地表达出图表含义，并得出令人信服的结论。
对于文字提示的写作，要注意根据表达的需要选择恰当的时态。
要特别要注意重新组织所给的材料，不能依据表格逐条地翻译。
（2）步骤审题--﹥列纲----﹥连句---﹥润色-----﹥誊写，具体而言审题：通过审题，做到“四定”即定体裁，定结构，定人称，定时态；列纲：用词组，短语列举出内容要点，做到齐全，简练。
连句：将词连成句，注意时态和人称的一致。
润色：在遣词造句上下工夫，做到形连和意连。
形连要求自我词汇以增加得分“靓”点。
意连要求涵盖高考书面表达中各种文体常用的特色词汇，如However, besides, instead, on the contrary, what’s more等,最后誊写。
（二）做题技巧①篇章结构语篇的连贯性英语议论文的段落多采取直线式展开。
即段落开始直接切入主题，并给出事实、例证、推理等。
