托福独立写作Does rising teachers' salary be the best way to improve education.(by Kitty)
老师的待遇英文作文

老师的待遇英文作文Being a teacher is not an easy job. It requires a lot of patience, dedication, and hard work. Teachers have to deal with different types of students, and they have to be able to adapt to each student's needs and learning style. The salary of teachers is often not very high, especially considering the amount of work they have to do. They have to prepare lessons, grade papers, and deal with parents and administrators. It's a tough job, and they deserve to be paid more for the work they do.In addition to the low salary, teachers also have to deal with a lack of respect from society. Many people don't appreciate the hard work that teachers do, and they often criticize them for not doing enough. This lack of respect can be demoralizing for teachers, and it can make their job even more difficult.Another issue that teachers face is the lack ofresources in schools. Many schools don't have enough funding, and teachers often have to buy supplies out of their own pocket. This is unfair to teachers, and it makes their job even more challenging.Despite all of these challenges, most teachers are passionate about their work and genuinely care about their students. They work long hours and go above and beyond to help their students succeed. It's important for society to recognize and appreciate the hard work that teachers do and to provide them with the support and resources they need to do their job effectively.。
2017考博英语作文范文:教师工资跟学生成绩挂钩?

Some communities have decided to base evaluations of teachers on students’ test scores. It’s these evaluations that determine how much teachers will be paid. I don’t think this is a very good idea for several reasons.First of all, if teachers’ salaries are going to be based on how much students learn, then some teachers will start to teach their students only what they need to get high test scores. This means that students will miss out on a lot of education that can’t be measured on a test. For instance, one of the best methods to help students understand a subject is encouraging them to discuss it. A common practice is to divide the class into groups, have each group discuss the subject, and then have them report back to the whole class. This kind of shared learning can lead to a fuller understanding. It also teaches students how to discuss and debate ideas. However, it doesn’t supply facts to show off on a test.Another problem with basing teachers’ salaries on how much their students learn is that teachers may ignore students who have learning difficulties. Some students learn more slowly than others and need more personal attention. If a teacher is worried about tests, he may feel he has to push the majority ofthe students to cram facts. That effort will take all his time. He won’t be able to help the less able students. It’s true there are teachers who “burn out” after many years teaching and just don’t care how much their st udents learn. Basing their salaries on their students’ test scores may improve their efforts. However, it’s not fair for the majority of teachers. They deserve and need to be judged by other criteria.。

托福IBT高分作文:Should teachers be paid according to how much their students learn?Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Teachers should be paid according to how much their students learn. Give specific reasons and examples to support your opinion.托福IBT高分作文分析:不能同意。
乍看起来(at the firstglance)很有道理。
问题在于:教育不是商品。
如何保证能够确切地衡量学生究竟学到了多少?学生学到多少,并不是老师一个人的事情,还要看学生自身的素质(quality);能力(capacity)等等。
如果采取了这样的方式,就会出现老师迎合(cater to/ pander to/ play up to students’taste)学生而不是引导(guide; lead)学生,违背了教育的原则。
托福IBT高分作文范文:教师工资发放标准People usually believe that teachers have the most important job in all of society. They raise our children to be forward-thinking, bright individuals. They ensure that children get along with each other, and learn to work together as a team. As such, being a teacher typically means a stable paycheck. However, when some people propose that teachers should be paid according to how much their students learn, I can hardly agree.First of all, students may not be interested in learning. When students arenot interested in learning, the teacher can hardly be held responsible. Theteacher can grade them harshly, keep them in after class, and discipline them severely, but the students will still not learn if they do not want to. If the teacher is trying his/her best to teach the students, and the information is presented clearly and succinctly, he/she can do no better job. Moreover, there is a limit on how much a child can learn. If a teacher was to be paid according to how much his/her students learned, there would be a certain point where he/she could teach them no more. I remember when I was in high school, there would be moments in the year when I didn’t think I could fit anymore information into my head. This was not my teacher’s fault, and the point isthat I just was not absorbing the material. I think many teachers would find this problem if they were paid by how much their students learnt. Most importantly, teachers should not be paid according to how much their students learn because some of the lessons that a student learns cannot be measured by a test. We cannot simply give children a test to discover how muchthey have learnt in a class. Tests rarely measure one’s social skills, one’sability to communicate, or one’s ability to integrate successfully into the world. However, it is the teachers who help students to manifest thesequalities.。

托福独立写作题目:Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? The teachers should be paid according to how well the students perform.【托福写作】托福独立写作范文:Teachers should in part be responsible of the students’ school performance, yet I disagree to the statement that the teachers should be paid according to the students’ performance on several grounds. The statement itself underlies a serious mistake –the very purpose of teaching and schooling, and education on a bigger scale, is better performance of all students. Common sense informs me that education, and teachers’ responsibility in particular, should be intended to building up students’ confidence in exploring and discovering unknown respects as well as specific skills required to accomplish that. Such standard is often broad and abstract in contrast to the narrowness and rigidity of the criterion –students’ performance. If teachers’ salary is determined by the students’ performance, this hint would destroy the long-term function of schooling and education since the system is short-sightedly targeted at improving students’ performance.【托福写作】Another thing to be worried about the statement is that, if actually carried out, both teachers and students would be cast into the irrational pursuit for performance thus results in serious problems. For example, a teacher evaluated in this way is immediately forced to make the decision: to push her class toward the best performance or at least better than the worst-performing class, and show preference to students who perform well. Such measures might be incentives for a better grade, but the teacher and the students would lose their original motivation in schooling as performance becomes the one and only purpose. Also, consequent competition among students would place heavy pressure on every student, and the ones who do not perform well would be neglected by the teacher and fall into upset. Considering all the disastrous effect such measure could incur, it is obvious that teachers should not be paid on the basis of stu dents’ performance.A more realistic and rational criterion to value teachers’ work (and therefore decide their salary) should include factors such as comprehensive developments of students, teachers’ own capacity to cultivate and educate, and parents’ f eedback. Yet my disagreement does not suggestthat students’ performance should be abandoned but rather included along with other indispensable factors in evaluating teachers’ work, since school report is still among most parents’ top concerns and students have to use it as anchor when applying for further studies. Also, it is reasonable that teachers who can enhance students’ performance should be paid better, as the measure would moderately motivate teachers to work hard.In a nutshell, I object to the idea that the teachers should be paid on the basis of the students’ performance, but should instead be evaluated on a medley of comprehensive quatatives which agrees with the purpose of education and schooling as well as encourages their effort toward more satisfying learning experience.【托福写作】以上就是小马过河小编带来的关于托福写作范文备考:teachers的讲解,希望对同学们的托福考试有所帮助。

Would you prefer a higher pay job with longer work time or an average pay job with normal work time.People tend to have to different expectations out of a job, like personal satisfaction, higher pay, respect, and social recognition. Some people prefer to work long hours to pursue a higher salary while others tend to hold on a average paying job with normal work hours. If I have to face these two choices, I tend to choose to take a job with normal pay but more free time based on the following reasons.Admittedly, moary reward is indeed one of primary motivation to pursue a career, one needs money to cover daily expenses like room and board, utility bills, buy medical insurance, without money it is impossible for someone to live a decent life. However, it is not moary benefit that gives an individual great personal satisfactions. Research that is done by lots of well-established professor in psychiatry has shown that the freedom to allocate your time and your intimacy withfriends and families guarantee great personal happiness and satisfactions.First off, spending too much time and working overtime can add more pressure and stress to one personal life and jeopardize their health. Lots of jobs are sedentary, like secretaries, lawyers, clerks, which pose great threat to their physical healthy. They might get dizzy, backache, and lack of energy. Other professions are even more petitive and intense, like stock broker, financial analyst who have to stare at a puter screen for more than 10 hours a day. It is not surprising to hear someone who has worked for 14 hours a day and several days in a row and eventually suffer from cardiac sudden death. It is clear that working overtime pose great threat to employees' healthy, which leads to sloppy working habits and negative attitude. The most unwanted scenario is the lack of morale in a professional environment. On the other hand, working normal hours makes the individual employee happier in their personal life and more productive in the working place.Additionally, working overtime means that theindividual will have to sacrifice much of their spare time devoted to boring and repetitive work. There are more meaningful stuff to do than working day and night, for instance, by choosing working normal hours one can develop a new skill or hobby, like learning how to play piano, play golf with a friend. Besides, working normal hours makes it possible for individuals to spend some quality with theirfamilies and maintaining a harmonious bond with familiescan be very important. Not only does good to theindividual's mental health, but also it will make one more productive in a professional setting. In conclusion, it is more advisable to work average hours with normal pay than otherwise since more flexibility in working schedule means more quality time with families and friends, great personal satisfaction and productivityin working place and lower risk of physical and mental problems. In the current society full of fierce petition, we can readily observe that landing an ideal job has bee increasingly difficult, which forces us to a concession in the requirement of the job we want. When it es to which is more appealing, a higher pay job with longer work time oran average pay job with normal work time, people varying in backgrounds and personalities may view the same issue from different angles. From my perspective, towards such a long-running tug-of-war, my choice will depends on what age I am.On the one hand, during my twenties and thirties, my preference will be a higher pay job with longer work time. For one thing, as for young adults wrestling with various bills in daily life, the high salary will help them to relieve their financial pressure and thus meet their basic need of life. To be specific, the extremely high price ofhouse in China has been beyond the affordable range of most people. In order to pay the rents or afford a house, young people needs desperately a large sum of money which can be earned in a decent job. For another, longer work time isnot a big deal for the young, because they are so energetic and vigorous that a sound sleep can help them to restore their vitality. A good case in point is the experience my friend, Andy. As a broker in an Stock Exchange Company in Beijing, he has to deal with large quantities of data and keep close track of any events which may cause thefluctuation of stock price. Although the heavy pressure brought by his job often require him to work overtime and even around the clock, he never makes plaints because the exciting and adventurous experience from selling or buying stocks appeals him a lot.On the other hand, n the other hand, when I am at the middle age or old age, an average pay job with normal work time will be much better. After aumulating fortunes in the early years of life, old-age people do not suffer from huge financial pressure so that low ine will not affect theirlife greatly. As we know, the old have owned their own houses and are not interested in pursuing the latest electronic devices or fashionable clothes, thus decresing their living cost to a large extent. As a result, they can lead a relatively high-quality life without high wage. Also, older people are usually those who have got married or even have children, so spending more time aompanying their family members is of great significance. Undoubtedly, the job with normal work time can better satisfy the need of staying longer with their kids or spouse. During the stay, the emotional bond between them will bee closer and more intimate.Judging from what has been discussed above, we can draw the conclusion that my preference for a job varies aording to what age group I am at.。
托福作文题目 some think that to improve the quality of education
托福作文题目some think that to improve the quality of education, increasing the salary of teachers is the most inportant thing. what do you think?文章how to improve the quality of education has always been in the mid of heated discussion of people from all walks of life. And more specificallly, whether increasing teacher's salaries is the best way to improve the quality of education is something at issue. Some think it contributes a lot to a high-standard education, while others think it only improves the standards of teachers' life, but not necessarily that of education. For me, I insist that increasing teacher's salaries is the best way to improve the quality of education.Firstly, in response of some people's concern that it will only improve the teachers' living standards, I think that most teachers have a strong sense of responsibility. So for the majority of the teachers, once they can get a satisfactory salary and achieve a comfortable life, they will concentrate more on how to improve their teaching methodology and better impart the knowledge to students. In this way can the overall quality of education be improved.Secondly, higher salary means more prominence and higher social status given to teacher as a profession. In terms of that, more people would like to become a teacher, thus intensifying the competition for the each teaching position. As a result, the whole nation can have a more strict selecting process to recruit only the most outstanding candidates. In addition, the society as a whole will pay more attention to the teacher-recruiting process, and more censorship with no doubt ensures that only the best ones can be selected as teachers. Through a social point of view, improving the salaries also contributes a lot to improving the quality of education. In a word, from a perspective of both teachers themselves and also the social censorship, increasing teachers' salaries is certainly the best approach to enhance the quality of education.。
该给老师加薪的英文作文
该给老师加薪的英文作文英文:As a student, I strongly believe that teachers deserve a pay raise. Teachers play a crucial role in shaping the future of our society by educating and inspiring the next generation. However, many teachers are not adequately compensated for their hard work and dedication. 。
First and foremost, teachers are responsible for imparting knowledge and skills to their students. They spend countless hours preparing lessons, grading papers, and providing individualized support to their students. Despite their efforts, many teachers struggle to make ends meet due to their low salaries. This not only affects their morale and job satisfaction, but also hinders their ability to fully focus on their teaching.Furthermore, a pay raise for teachers would not only benefit them personally, but also the education system as awhole. Higher salaries would attract more talented individuals to pursue a career in teaching, leading to a higher quality of education for students. Additionally, it would help retain experienced and effective teachers who might otherwise leave the profession for better-paying opportunities. 。
教师薪资的英文作文
教师薪资的英文作文英文:Teacher salaries have been a topic of debate for many years. Some argue that teachers are not paid enough for the important work they do, while others believe that their salaries are fair. In my opinion, I believe that teachers should be paid more for several reasons.Firstly, teaching is a difficult and demanding job that requires a lot of time and effort. Teachers are responsible for educating the next generation and shaping the future of our society. They work long hours, often staying after school to grade papers and prepare lesson plans. Additionally, they must constantly adapt to changes in curriculum and teaching methods.Secondly, the cost of living has increasedsignificantly in recent years, making it difficult for teachers to make ends meet. Many teachers struggle to payfor basic necessities such as housing and healthcare. This is especially true for those who work in low-income areas where salaries are often lower. Finally, investing in teachers is investing in our future. By paying teachers more, we can attract and retain highly qualified educators who will provide the best possible education for our children. This will ultimately lead to a more educated and successful society. In conclusion, I believe that teachers should be paid more for their hard work and dedication to educating our children. By doing so, we can ensure that our children receive the best possible education and that our society continues to thrive.中文:教师薪资一直是一个争议话题。
托福作文 2-提高教育的最好方式是给老师涨工资
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? The best way to improve education is to raise teachers’ salaries. How to improve education has always been one of the hottest social issues to be discussed. Some people would say that the best way to promote education is to provide teachers with high salaries, because teachers are of indispensable function in the education. But as for me, I don’t think that it is the best way to achieve the goal of education improvement, for there are still other factors need to be considered.First of all, scientific educational plan is fundamental for education improvement. A reasonable and well-organized plan will optimize the structure of students’ knowledge and ability and cultivate high quality talents with specialty. On the contrary, if the plan is in defective condition, it is almost a mission impossible to shape education superiority and development of talents cannot avoid be influenced. We may point out a common example of machinery manufacturing. In producing a beautiful machine, a systematic, detailed, and scientific plan of production must be elaborated and delivered carefully. Any flaw, no matter perceivable or not, will result in functional defect, ever worse, uselessness! Moreover, to improve the validity and reality relevance of learning materials that students are using will affect the education enhancement. Teachers, students and teaching contents are basic elements of educational activities and learning materials are the carrier of the contents, main source from which students acquire the knowledge, and basic principle for teachers’ activities. Correspondence among the objective students, the difficulty and the content coverage of the learning materials will work on the result and effectiveness of learning process. Good materials could definitely achieve the anticipated goal, while invalid, outdated materials could never work out. This is supported by a typical instance of English language education. Students are learning the platitude and cliché of last fifty years for spoken English in some countries. With those materials, the students could hardly perform effective communication, not to mention improve their language education in these places. However, we cannot deny the fact that the improvement of education is conditioned by teachers. The teachers are the playing the dominant roles in the teaching and they are hold the guiding position in the purpose, contents, process, methodology, pattern and means of instructions. Quality of education therefore, is inseparable with that of teachers. After all, the fact that an accomplished disciple owes his accomplishment to his great teacher is inarguable. So, providing them with incentive of hi gher salaries will arouse teachers’ enthusiasm and then achieve the goal of education improvement to some extent. From what has been discussed above, we could safely draw the conclusion that many factors need to be considered and many methods can also be taken to improve education. Raising teachers’ salaries is one of the available options, but not the best one.。

Topic: Some people think increasing teacher’s salaries is the best solution to improve the quality of education. What do you think?
The knowledge-explosion era has made education a top priority to the development of a nation, which gives rise to a series of proposals contributing to the improvement of the quality of education. Some people argue the significance of increasing the teachers’ salaries, and claim that it is above criticism that putting teachers’ salary at a high level is superior to other options. To my mind, important as it is, it is better to be taken as a good one than the best one.
There is no denying that increasing teachers’ salary will definitely spur their working spirits and motivation, which means a deeper engagement in their work. Nowadays, large amount of people gain their wealth by doing a handsomely paid job, such as doctors, businessmen or lawyers. Contrastingly, teachers——those high-qualified, well-experienced people——seem to be a forgotten group. They take teaching up as their life long pursuit, and exhaust their vigor involving themselves in so many things as cultivating talents, tap children’s potentials and at the same time meeting each personalized needs. The laudable endeavor does not find its equal payment. Increasing the salary will certainly be a great comfort to teachers, which will make them attain the sense of self-fulfillment and take more active part in teaching. As a consequence, timely and deliberated respond would be made by teachers, leading to the better learning of their students.
However, education itself is a matter of developing critical and independent way of thinking. So, introducing and perfecting an outstanding education system is of long-range benefits. It can be seen everywhere that students are strong in score but poor in quality resulting from the improper education system. Actually, we have the obligation to discard the dross in our education system and meanwhile absorb the quintessence in others. We are not born to rote knowledge infused in our brain by teachers, but to inquire, to explore the unknown. Admittedly, western nations have done a better job, which made evidence by the innovations they have mounted. It is the time to change.
Moreover, another one which can never be neglected is an ample supply of teaching resources and facilities. You could hardly do a physical or chemical experiment without instruments, and you could not make it work for an elaborately designed stock price model lacking vast date for testing whether it can apply to practice.
In conclusion, each of the factors plays an irreplaceable role in promoting the quality of education. They supplement each other and work together to make a difference.
