1620年，英国一批主张改革的清教徒，因理想和抱负不能实现而退出国教，自立新教，此举激起了英国当政者的仇恨。
这些清教徒们不堪承受统治者的迫害和歧视，先逃到荷兰，9月初，乘船远渡重洋，准备流亡美国。

Next Thursday is Thanksgiving Day,and the staple food in that day is a turkey.So today I want to share how to roast a turkey.
Ingredihould brush the turkey with 1/2 the melted butter. Place breast side down on a roasting rack in a shallow roasting pan. Stuff the turkey cavity with 1 onion, 1/2 the carrots, 1/2 the celery, 1 sprig of thyme, and the bay leaf. Scatter the remaining vegetables and thyme around the bottom of the roasting pan, and cover with the white wine.
