在知识储备方面，五年级上学期第四模块The natural world中学过的Wind，Water和Fire等相关话题的学习为本单元的学习奠定了基础，学生知道谈论大自然中重要物质的时候可以从它的颜色、形态、味道及作用等方面进行描述。
