本节课是一节对话课，学习的核心句型是：Arethesecarrots？Yes，theyare.No，theyaren’t.以及Whatarethese？They’retomatoes.教材通过Mike与Sarah参观农场并与农场主任对话的情景让学生感知上述句型的语义及语用情景。
首先总结一下本节课的成功之处：
1.在教学过程中，我努力创设一种轻松、愉悦的课堂气氛，通过各种手段激发学生的学习兴趣，利用多种评价方式来充分调动学生的学习积极性。
2.通过本节课的学习，大部分学生能够掌握并运用核心句型。
不足之处:
1.很多学生把Theyare…错用为Itis…，也就是不理解it的复数形式是they；
2.我的教学设计过分地注重小组合作，注重培养学生的.小组合作精神，而培养学生个体意识的练习只有一两个。
改进措施：
1.需要通过进一步讲解和练习，帮助学生理解；
2.应设计一些既能体现个体又能发挥整体性的教学环节，使学生个体与整体联系起来，达到学以致用的目的。
