认识上帝的品格

上帝也是圣洁的上帝（利11：44），圣洁的含义就是与万物有绝对的区别，上帝是本性既然是圣洁的，他就容不下污秽和邪恶，所以他对罪恶必除之而后快。
为此，即便上帝现在灭绝全部人类，如同挪亚方舟的时代那样用猛烈的洪水来毁灭这个世界，也不过是执行了他的公义而已，因为世人尽都是邪恶（诗14：1－3）,但上帝还是慈悲和怜悯的上帝，故此今天还留下时间和机会，期待罪人悔改。
正如使徒彼得所教导的，“主所应许的尚未成就，有人以为他是耽延，其实不是耽延，乃是宽容你们，不愿有一人沉沦，乃愿人人都悔改。
