2011年5月29日新托福机经2011年5月29日新托福考试阅读机经：第一篇、一个词汇题,postulate=hypothesis一开始就挺难的找不到感觉，文章也看不进去，大家随便看看就好，这篇做得不好。
有错误欢迎指正。
实在很无语，做完我有一种欲哭无泪的感觉。
讲动物evolved的，大概就是说混血杂交什么的，开始有什么学家意见不符。
还有提到达尔文进化论，最后一段说基因相近的物种的杂交后代成功率适应性都比较强。
中间实在是记不住了。
我把康老师机经上的摘抄下来了，大家看看：有一部分讲到species breed，然后是一些理论。
倒数第二段提到Darwin 的进化论对这个问题的解释，但是作者的态度是质疑Darwin的解释的，同时提了一个问题反驳他的理论(有题)，最后作者提到应该是物种在同类内Breed 比较有题，在同属内就有缺陷。
将动植物分类是很难的，以前很简单，就是按照外表和生理上不同来分类。
但是后来这种办法就落后，不管用。
以后就有了更科学的分类方法。
从四个方面来分类。
第二篇、大陆漂移nonscientist注意到AFRICA和australia 大陆的相似，但是一直是个疑问。
德国科学家Wegener 提出了大陆漂移的理论。
当时大家一致认为大陆的运动都是垂直运动，up and down的，但是W认为大陆运动是水平的。
他还用了化石的理论来解释。
W发现两个大陆在X世纪以前的动物化石非常相似，而且越古老的越相似(推论：X世纪以后两个大陆的动物怎么样了，我选相似越来越小)他指出这两块大陆原来是连一块的，后来才分开。
除了化石，W还用了别的方法来证明。
当时提出这个理论在德国是很震撼的，但是很快就set aside了。
这个理论在AFRICA和AUSTRALIA 是很受支持的，然后当时的主流学术期刊是欧洲发行的，欧洲科学家并不受支持(有考题)，最后这个理论还是不被大众所接受。
一些科学家认为化石的相似性是由于以前两块大陆连着，后来板块沉没导致的，当时更有一个权威数学家极力反对。

指经过⼀段努⼒为了达成特别⽬标，虽然结果不如预期，但是得到意外好结果
教授举例他⼉⼦以前想要去⼀间报社⼯作因为这⼯作很竞争，所以他努⼒把成绩顾好
还拿到很不错的推荐信，最后虽然他没有上，但是因为他的成绩好，最后有很好⼯作
5. ⼥⽣要画她室友才画到⼀半但是她室友先熘了他没办完成作业
两个建议1. 和教授延长⼀个礼拜，但是她下礼拜要考⽣物
2. 找其他学⽣，但是其他学⽣下週是⽗母恳亲⽇，⼤家都去见爸妈
6. ⼭区预防⼟壤流失
1. 同⼀⽚地种植两种不同作物例如稻和麦，因为收获期不⼀样
所以在收获期有另⼀种植物的根可以抓⼟壤
2. 关于两个⽅法防⽌soil erosion的，第⼀个在不同的⾏种不同的植物。
第⼆个好像是减少下⾬时⾬⽔对表层⼟壤的冲刷。

2011年9月25日托福机经回顾+经验
1. 独立作文现在的爹妈养孩子比50年前更容易了。
2. 综合写作说美国的一种动物prairie dogs该不该保护。
(图片里面出现的是一种像松鼠之类的东西，不过这个不重要，呵呵) 阅读说不该保护因为1. 他们和人们养的牛啊羊这些牲畜都吃草，他们把草吃光了，牛羊就没啥吃了。
而且他们还破坏草原。
2. 他们身上有一种dangerous disease 会危害人类。
3. 他们不应该收到保护，那些处在食物链顶端的动物才应该被保护(the top of food chain)而且他们对于生态系统也没啥大影响。
听力，教授说你这不在那扯呢么，到底学没学过生物啊1. 现在谁还那样养牛养羊，牛羊都改吃饲料了，也不随便跑了，都待在相对固定的地方了，所以根本谈不上竞争草的问题。
2. 那种在prairie dog 身上的disease 不会在人身上存活(live)，所以这种担心是多余的。
好像又说过去几十年只有十个人受到这影响(不太确定啊)。
3. 虽然这种动物处不在食物链的顶层，但对其他动物的影响是很大的，比如说以他们为食的那些动物，如果他们减少了，那么那些动肯定也受影响。
所以说他们对生态系统(ecosystem)的作用挺大的，要保护。
阅读1 其实这个不是第一题，但是这个我记得最清，所以先说了。
说的是恐龙问题，恐龙到底是恒温动物还是变温动物。
文章说有一个人研究说恐龙更应该划分在恒温动物一类。
然后提出了一些证据。
说他们有一个结构象鸟和哺乳动物。
还有靠近骨头的毛细血管比较发达，还有一种同位素含量在身体部位的变化，说在变温动物中不一样但在恒温动物中差不多，这些都是恒温动物的特征。
最后总结说现在还不能确定，不过即使恐龙不是恒温动物，像他们能长这么大应该也能保持身体处于一定温度。
托福阅读和听力里有很多关于恐龙的题材的，大家多看多听应该不会陌生。
2. 讲的好像是美国一个峡谷的形成，原谅我这篇里有好多地质学科的名词，偏偏我又对地址的名词不感冒，所以不精确，但大意应该差不多。
2011年9月18日托福机经回顾
阅读:第一篇 ----- 说幼儿的memory strategy。
5-7岁的儿童已经有很好的strategy了。
比如让他们把玩具藏起来，他们记住位置而且会标记，选的位置也比较适合;而3岁的小孩水平就比较烂了，他们放的地方很容易混淆，而且自己也难以再次找到... 后来还说了随着年岁增加，儿童会鄙弃旧的无效的方案，而运用更有效的方案。
记忆会和social interaction有关，举例妈妈教小孩子，说明这个能力会发展的。
考spontaneous的意思。
第二篇 ----- (有图片附阅读上)说wheel cart在美索不达米亚的发展。
先说了一下之前的发明，sled神马的。
然后一开始wheel cart没有用于transportation, 而是 ceremony。
后来骆驼出现慢慢取代，因为骆驼更利于在沙漠中行走。
devised = invented第三篇 ------ 以前，存在没有翅膀的鸟。
因为它们生活在岛屿上，没有天敌。
这种鸟翅膀肌肉不发达是因为发展翅肌的能量还不如自己存体力神马的。
没有翅膀的鸟长得太大了，又说到后来它们因为环境等因素不得不进化，而没有进化的鸟就因为人类入侵而灭绝了。
peril = danger听力：1. 学生找accounting office说他们english department的trip。
女滴告诉他 --- 有个表没填全，需要签字;另一个去London的要报到travel office。
2. art and history ----- 说photography的。
photography是否属art。
然后说了一下camera的发展，说明photography不仅用作documatation还是art。
3. geology ----- 说一个地质奇观的形成。
跟风化有关4. 某BACKPAKING CLUB的学生的关于谋篇文章的complain。
(本篇无力)5. geology ----- 大陆漂移学。

2011年12月11日大陆托福机经回忆阅读部分：第一篇第一段动物有玩的天性，但是不好定义，因为动物在做其他的事情的时候会产生玩的行为，但是不是在玩。
第二段动物paly不好发现，因为有些行为要在adult后才能发现。
第三段动物paly消耗能量，脂肪，但是有重要意义，学到了本领第四段动物的妈妈爸爸保护宝宝，在安全环境下玩猴子之类的群居动物还能学会如何为group着想。
第五段动物如何告诉同伴我是在玩还tm在真人格斗，通过signal，例如狗狗，摇jb，这样同伴就知道了他在得瑟了而不是真格斗。
role of play in development,玩对动物的影响，玩能够锻炼肌肉还有什么的,玩的时候还有可能暴露自己的危险，通过跟ADULT玩学到些东西玩还能储存脂肪，什么的（有个排除题1增加寿命2储存脂肪3消耗能量4忘了++ 好像增加寿命没说吧）举了猴子的例子，因为猴子比较自私，说玩能够培养他们的社交能力，讲了狗的例子，先说了玩在某些程度上很难区分因为涉及到一些攻击还是捕猎的动作啊说明狗是如何向其他陌生的狗作出表示，使他们明白是在玩而不是攻击什么的，这里有题第二篇说达尔文的进化论是目前最有说服力的理论，但是其中所描述的进化，是一种缓慢的逐渐发生的。
于是就有科学家质疑这种逐渐性，认为虽然生物会进化，但是在同一物种进化前和进化后的会有明显的差别，而这两者之间的中间状态却一直都无法找到。
（意思就是说达尔文人为地进化论应该是一条斜线，逐渐向上的；而另一些人认为应该是呈阶梯状向上的）两个关键词gradualism和punctuated equilibrium。
其中说到有时候会有一些地质断层包含丰富的化石资料供人们研究。
举了一个xx人关于古代马的研究。
说马在很长一段时间内都保持体征不变，而后是突然间变成另一种样子的。
最后说环境会影响物种的进化。
环境稳定是，物种进化很慢，环境压力大时，进化得就快。
the pace of evolutionary change.第二个说达尔文的进化论是目前最有说服力的理论，在某个年代之前所有科学家都采纳这种解释但是其中所描述的进化，是一种缓慢的逐渐发生的。

托福听力：对话1: 学生和accounting 有活动要报销啊一个去周边一个去伦敦(好像是去搞poem?求对题)去周边那个报销log没填全还没professor签字(有题)去伦敦那个需要去负责travel的department 如果去本地有住宿也要去travel那边(有题)男的说you must be kidding 有题我选的男的被程序折磨的受不了了这篇我有莫名的印象对话2 学生和pro讨论可能有生命的星球(叫啥啥啥)这个话题她不懂的地方有两个条件(题) 第一个是和star的距离合适不冷不热有液态水这个啥啥啥的名字就是起源于一个童话吧(题) 意思是正正好第二个条件是啥我忘了XD 然后说以前人们觉得双星系的行星不好出生命但是这个看法在改变(题)因为细菌什么的还是有可能活在那些行星上的最后女生提了个什么program 目的是想为教授工作(题)讲座1 摄影算不算art 有些人觉得摄影不算art因为太简单但是摄影技术让很多18世纪还是哪时候的画家方便很多因为他们用一种类似投影的技术去描画..这样能(画好细节/还是画快有题二选一求对题)帮助realism 也有些人讨厌photo 所以转向impressionism了现在摄影很容易了装备很多什么的最初是用作庭证的现在啥都有还有电子照片人们PS 以至于法庭要质疑庭证照片是否被PS(题现在照片难用作证据) 而且PS已经含有创作元素了所以摄影是一门art(有题)讲座2 地理一塌糊涂板块在地幔上漂移互相挤压有一边会下沉可以从一个网上看视频(题) 事实上板块运动并不一直发生间歇性的若干年前某个地方有个T海就被大陆挤压没了但是这之后大陆之间不挤压因为T海的消失没有出发新的下沉(subxxxx) 最后还说照现在的trend 350百万年后亚欧大陆会和美洲合体... 全篇有个口头语rocks, what else 意思是没什么新鲜的(题)补充：第二篇对话的第二个条件MS是age哈~~地理的:犹他州有一个石山叫hoodoo,讲它是怎么形成的，中间教授说是acid rain又关系，然后有一个表情很夸张的女童鞋问啊老师啊你上次说酸雨是因为空气污染啊hoodoo山那里空气很好啊不可能有酸雨的说！！然后老师就很鄙视的说：你确定嘛孩子。

理由1，价格便宜，如果没有bus，学生自己打车要30-40刀，很贵。

人们如果一开始接受某个事物，就会看重好处，忽略坏处。
教授拿自己朋友举例。
几年前，朋友买房，看重一套房，和自己工作的地点在同城市，交通便捷，但是缺点是比自己理想的房子要小很多。
纠结后，还是买下了。
几年后，教授问她对房子的感受，她说非常好，对地理位置赞不绝口。
但是一点也不认为房子小。
5，女生说时间不够，两周内要完成3个assignment,同时还有part –time job要做，男生建议先减少兼职工作量。
女生说可以申请其中一门paper的extension，但是对分数会有影响。
6 road 对环境和生物的影响。

1 对kit-fox的影响，fox的食物mice和squirrel因为road而数量减少，因此影响fox的生存。
2，减少动物的水源和食物。
而且会引入其他物种，增加和native物种间的竞争。
