快速诱惑 中文版 Speed_seduction中文版_罗斯_杰弗瑞

The PresentYesterday is history,Tomorrow is a mystery,Today is a gift,Thats why we call it present!

The Fairy Queen is an incomplete English epic poem by Edmund Spenser. The first half was published in 1590, and a second installment was published in 1596. The Fairy Queen is notable for its form: it was the first work written in Spenserian stanza and is one of the longest poems in the English language. It is an allegorical work, written in praise of Queen Elizabeth I. In Spenser's "A Letter of the Authors," he states that the entire epic poem is "cloudily enwrapped in allegorical devises," and that the aim of publishing The Fairy Queen was to “fashion a gentleman or noble person in virtuous and gentle discipline.”

Comments on Him
• (1)the greatest non-dramatic poet of the Elizabethan Age, and the first master of English verse, which he made the natural music of his voice.
• The Fairy Queen was published between 1590 and 1609 by Edmund Spenser. It is the central poem of the Elizabethan period. The form of The Fairy Queen fuses the medieval allegory with the Italian romantic epic. The plan was for 12 books (of which six were completed), focusing on 12 virtues exemplified in the quests of 12 knights from the court of Gloriana, the Fairy Queen, a symbol for Elizabeth I herself. Arthur, in quest of Gloriana's love, would appear in each book and come to exemplify Magnificence, the complete man.
Comments on Him
• (3) Edmund Spenser was a man of his times, and his work reflects the religious and humanistic ideals as well as the intense but critical patriotism of Elizabethan England. His contributions to English literature—in the form of a heightened and enlarged poetic vocabulary, a charming and flexible verse style, and a rich fusing of the philosophic and literary currents of the English Renaissance—entitle him to a rank not far removed from that of William Shakespeare and John Milton.
