教材分析：
本单元的主要教学内容是“确认物品”。

在句型操练时，教师可以将词汇和句型结合起来，并尽量创设符合逻辑的语境，如采用遮盖物品、显露局部、闻香识物等方法，以避免“明知故问”的倾向。
如果班级基础较好，也可以适当扩展Is that …? No, it isn’t.以提高学生运用语言的灵活性。
此外，教师还可以借助插图，引导学生理解歌词大意，如学生能在听懂、会说的基础上，替换或改编歌谣则更好。
学情分析：
本单元教授的四种水果，是学生非常喜爱的，因此学习兴趣一定非常浓厚，但也可能会引起课堂混乱，要随时注意调控好课堂纪律。
句型Is this a … ?在学习了This is a ….之后来学，肯定会有负迁移的影响，估计大部分学生会读成Is this is a … ?这个句型要贯穿所有的课时，不断地纠错，强化在学生脑中的印象。

在教学中，区分This is a… Is this a…? 将是堂课的难点，如果学生对此不能很好的消化将在以后的学习中逐步再次渗透。
