一、教学目标：
1. 知识与技能：能够听、说、读、写表示十二个月份的词，并能够运用What’s the date?（今天几号？）It’s _____.（今天是_____.）进行对话练习。
使学生掌握并把所学的单词与日常用语融会贯通运用到实际生活中。
2. 过程与方法：在教学中运用游戏、月份歌、等多种形式，和实际生活相结合。
提高学生的学习兴趣，增强学习的趣味性，使学生在快乐中学习。
3. 情感态度与价值观：根据小学生的特点，引导他们在宽松和谐的气氛中学习英语，调动他们学习的积极性、主动性，发挥创造性。

三、教学准备：英语书，多媒体四、教学活动设计：1、Greeting and review①say hello to everyone .②see a video and sing a song <happy new year>.引出本课的课文。
2、New concepts:（1)看P3，引出When is New Year's Day? 请学生回答，并出示回答句子：January the first is New Year’s Day。
