I've been working on building up my endurance by going on long bike rides to get ready for thosehikes. The fresh mountain air is going to feel so refreshing after being inside all year at school.After our camping adventure, we'll head back home for a couple weeks before jetting off to Hawaii to visit my aunt, uncle, and cousins. I'm super stoked to go snorkeling and swimming in the crystal clear ocean waters surrounding the islands. Apparently, the marine life you can see up close while snorkeling is just breathtaking. I really want to swim alongside some sea turtles, if we're lucky enough to spot any. My cousins say the beaches in Hawaii are out of this world, with the softest white sand and the most deliciously warm turquoise water. Beach days filled with swimming, building sandcastles, and soaking up the sun are definitely in store. I also can't wait to go on some awesome hikes and see gorgeous waterfalls.
