尊敬的各位家长：
晚上好！今天，我很荣幸地在这里，向各位家长汇报一下英语这一学科的一些教学情况。
整体上看，我班的学生一基本上形成了良好的学习氛围，课堂上也都能够积极用英语发言,作业也能够及时上交，在期中考试大部分学生都取得了一定的进步。
但同时也暴露出不少问题，具体以下几点:
1．学习方法不科学：具体表现在出力不少但效果不佳。
2．学习主动性还存在一些问题，一部分同学把学习当作任务来完成，而没把学习当成自己的事业，因此处于被动应付的局面。
3．自信心严重不足：特别是一部分学习有困难的同学，由于学习不跟趟，对学习失去兴趣，这要加强正面引导。
其中最突出的问题就是偏科现象，要引起重视。
希望家长配合教育。
4、学生的一些良好习惯没有形成形成。
个别学生，每次考试成绩都不太理想，实际上就是学习习惯差了一点，在校的表现如：早读到校后不能立即抓紧时间早读，上课听讲不高效，课后作业没有保证真正弄明白。
在家的表现如：周日等放假期间不能科学安排学习时间，学习观念不强。
对此，我们老师会更进一步加强引导，希望家长能督促子女在家合理的安排自己的学习时间，同时检查要跟上，发现问题要及时解决。
如果说因为工作忙等原因而疏忽了教育，一旦发生不良的后果，后悔就晚了。
怎样帮助孩子学好英语呢？我们老师自然是最直接的知识传授者，有着不可推卸的责任。
在此，我们只是真诚地呼吁我们的家长配合学校，配合老师，靠我们共同的努力来帮助孩子学好英语。
用一句时髦的话说：我们要和孩子共同成长。
1. 态度问题
学习英语要循序渐进，要有打持久仗的准备。
不同的学生，家长对他的要求应该是不一样的，孩子的基础不同，他所能达到的高度不同。
对成绩好的学生，要求严一些。
他们的学习习惯好，在听、说、读、写方面都能齐头并进，我为他们感到欣慰。
对于成绩差的学生，原因在于，他们平时学习马虎，基础不扎实，导致他们现在课上听讲出现困难.这样的学生，家长主要在他们的学习态度及课本的基础知识上下功夫就行了。
其实，大部分的学生还是处于中间层次，老师所教的，所布置的作业能够基本完成，但学习的效率又因人而异，存在着个体差别。
尽管他们平时不需要老师操太多的心，费太大的力，但是说起各方面的表现，又总有一丝遗憾，我们总希望他们能够再上一个台阶。
有一比喻是这样的：把学习比做上楼梯，有的人从一楼上二楼，这样容易些；有些从四楼上五楼，就有困难了。
有些家长坐电梯。
书面作业拖拉不交，口头作业根本不完成，如此一来，学习自然成了件头痛事，麻烦事。
2. 单词的默写
每一话题的单词是每一个学生都必须得不折不扣完成的，所以请家长回去以后一定要加强这部分的训练，要不断的复习巩固单词，只有这样才能有效的夯实基础，只有这样才不至于让英语越学越难，越学越差。
我们对默写的要求是这样的：单词、词组是要求家长报中文，课文是要求学生自己熟背然后默写的。
千万不能纵容自己的孩子第一次说：英语好难，我默不出来；就任由他去。
你让你
的孩子知道：今天，你花大时间去养成好习惯，明天，你就可以更好。
今天，你偷懒了一会，你明天的作业就会更多。
累积下来，你就是欠债最多的人。
孩子是每个家庭的重心和希望，有一位家长说过：“要把培养孩子当作自己的事业来做。
”是啊，只要你多投入一点，相信你的孩子会给予你更多的回报！
有时，我们回家布置抄写单词，其目的不在于抄，而在于提醒学生记忆这些单词。
但是在日常学习中，学生不重视这项作业，认为只是抄抄而已，不做也没什么关系，其实他连抄写都不做，根本别说是去背了，结果几次下来，他负债累累，应付不过来，学习处于被动状态，从而影响了以后的学习，出现退步现象。
因此，请大家在家里督促孩子保质保量地完成英语作业，该读的读、该说的说、该写的写、该记的记，及时巩固，养成良好的习惯。
父母亲的良好榜样起着很大作用。
孩子一般还没有明确的学习目的，这时，父母亲对学习的态度，特别是行为，会极大地影响孩子。
