高中英语学生能力的培养 在现在的高中英语课堂之中,学生不能够主动地去学习英语,这是造成课堂效率不高的原因。但正是因为教师在教学过程中不去培养学生自主学习的能力造成了这个结果。在以往的教学中,是由教师传授知识而学生接受知识,这是一个单方面的学习过程。这种落后的、单方面的教育模式已经严重地影响了英语的课堂效率。对于学生而言,这种方式不利于他们的学习和身心发展。所以,英语教学必须改革。而课程改革的重点要放在培养学生的实际语言运用能力上,要从学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平上出发,培养学生主动地思维和大胆地实践,从而形成自主学习的过程。笔者从事高中英语教学五六年,对于培养学生自主学习能力有一些自己的经验。 一、英语教学中的问题 传统的教学模式放在今天已经不再适合,学校已经随着新课改而改变了自己的教学方式。但是大多数的教师依旧不能改变自己的观念,他们仍旧坚持在课

堂中实行教师的“一言堂”,这是一种错误的观念,这样大多会引起学生对于学习的厌恶。要知道只有一个轻松愉快的课堂才能够让学生自由地发言,大胆地讨论。而新课改中强调了教师在课堂中的位置,他们不再是单一的知识的传授者,而是引导学生去学习,激发学生学习的积极性。培养他们在听、说、读、写这四个方面全面发展。 对于教师而言,英语教学的目的太过于单一。大多的教师只讲高考会考到的知识和语法,而对于高考不涉及的内容只字不提,这固然能够提升学生的英语成绩。但同样会让学生错过听力和口语训练的最佳时期。故此,教师在课堂之中除了语法之外,还应当在课堂之中多与学生进行口语的训练。或者要求学生读一些优美的英语句子或者段落增强自己的语感,甚至可以要求学生尝试自己去翻译句子。这样不仅仅能够帮助学生提升自己的英语翻译能力,还能够帮助学生不再将学习英语作为一个学习任务那么简单,而是将英语作为一门有趣的语言来学习。 二、培养学生的自主学习能力

高一学生英语入门 一、改善学生的学习习惯 有资料显示,高一年级英语成绩分化的原因之一是学生学习方法与新的教学内容不相适应。高一学生一般都不同程度地存在学习习惯不良的问题,学生往往是死记单词,听完课做完作业便了事,头脑中没有“学会了什么”的意识,没有学习效率的观念。因此,教师首先要指导学生学会听课、学会做笔记,为培养学生良好的学习习惯打下基础。 听课是学习的中心环节。教师除了要注重课堂教学的策略外,还要有针对性地指导学生听什么、怎样听、思考什么。要求学生不要局限于听懂某个问题的解决方法,更应以听审题方法以及探索思路的过程为主;要注意教师语言的弦外之音,去体会教师对某个问题的理解,做到心领神会,潜移默化。 笔记是听课的辅助手段。教师应及时对学生提出笔记的要求并进行指导,指导学生将听到的内容加以思考整理,提纲挈领地记,更好地领会教师的方法和策略,以便学习教师的示范项目并注意模仿;要求学生课后全面系统地整理笔记,将自己对所学知识的理解、感受作笔录、圈注,以提高悟性;要求学生将作业中的疑问、反思、心得进行记录,以便于总结与提高。同时,教师要坚持检查与督促,使学生养成做笔记的习惯。 二、训练学生的听力能力 学好英语,听、说、读、写是关键,而听居首位。提高听力的有效途径之一是过好发音关。发音不准,交流就会受阻,既听不懂别人,也表达不清自己。过好发音关并不难,学生在高一时,只要坚持每天听课文录音并跟着模仿就可。听录音时,务必注意听每个单词的正确读音。另外,可以让学生每天做10分钟的听力练习。教师应指导学生选取适合他们水平的听力材料,由易到难,循序渐进,做到有听必练,每听一段材料后进行口头或笔头回答练习。 三、训练学生的阅读理解能力 阅读理解能力的训练是培养自学能力、“授人以渔”的重要环节。英语阅读是一种辨认文字、理解语篇、进行思考、了解其中意义的复杂的心理过程,是一种心智技能,是获取信息、处理信息、应用信息全过程的初级阶段。加强阅读能力的训练,不仅是提高获取信息的“量”的手段,更是提高“质”的重要途径。由于高中英语落后生读不懂课本、读不懂题的现象十分普遍,因此,教师除注意规范自身的课堂教学(教学用语准确、规范,课堂表述干净利落)外,在高一引入新的知识点时,就应注重阅读的要求和训练。要让学生仔细阅读课本,通读内容,了解概要,准确理解。在阅读过程中如果产生疑问(或教师设置了疑问),教师要指导学生带着问题再仔细阅读有关内容,通过对基础知识的理解使疑问得以解决。 四、训练学生的表达能力 英语表达能力分为口头表达和书面表达两种,是在英语表达活动中逐步形成和发展起来的。对一个人来说,这种能力不是一朝一夕能够提高的。因此,教师也应该在高一就着手培养学生的英语表达能力。对此,教师一方面要加强词汇和语法教学,丰富学生的英语语言词汇,使学生懂得如何正确使用英语;另一方面还应通过复述课文,注意训练学生的口头表达能力,对优美的词、句、短文进行口头复述,指导他们如何进行口头和文字表达等。对每种典型的文体,教师应先向学生提供一种表达模式,慢慢熟练后,学生便可扩大其表达的自由度。 五、训练学生的思维能力 思维能力贯穿人类个体和群体活动过程中的每一个环节,渗透到其它各种能力中并发挥核心作用。而英语思维教育学的研究表明,学生只能通过自己的思维活动才能形成和发展思维能力。所以,高一英语中要注重训练学生通过自己的思维活动来学英语,如归纳小结、比
