Our key advantage is the strength and diversity of the CEIBS community. CEIBS brings together faculty, students and alumni with professional experience in dozens of countries and industries. As the longest running MBA programme in China, CEIBS has built a network that reaches deep into Chinese and international business circles. When CEIBS community members come together to discuss business and solve problems, there is sure to be debate. CEIBS' interactive teaching methods, consulting projects, club activities and international exchange programme ensure that debating opportunities are sustained throughout the MBA programme. Working through their differences in culture, background and knowledge every day for 18 months, CEIBS students eventually develop sensitivities, skills and competencies that cannot be attained elsewhere. This is where CEIBS truly excels. It is what recruiters from world-class companies have come to recognise as the CEIBS difference. The CEIBS MBA is a highly intensive, value-added process for people who are driven by the desire to make a difference, in China and abroad. It is a place to fully explore and develop your potential, and an investment with the best return in yourself and your future career. Our beautiful campus, close-knit community, and world-class facilities create a learning environment unparalleled in China. We invite you to explore for yourself by reading the brochure, visiting our website and visiting our campus. We look forward to meeting you at CEIBS.Welcome to China Europe International Business School! China's rapidly changing economy favors managers who are decisive in the face of uncertainty yet exible and open-minded in implementing decisions;who are deeply knowledgeable of business fundamentals yet mindful of local business customs and sensitivities; who are aware of international best practices yet innovative in crafting their own solutions to the problem at hand.Prof. Lydia PriceAssociate Dean, CEIBS Academic Director, MBA ProgrammeMs. Yvonne LiOperations Director, MBA ProgrammeA Joint Venture in EducationThe China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) is a non-profit joint venture established in Shanghai in 1994 under an agreement between the Chinese government and the European Commission. Its predecessor, the China-EC Management Institute (CEMI), was launched in Beijing in 1984. Currently, CEIBS operates a main campus in Shanghai, a representative office and teaching facilities in Beijing and Shenzhen. The school will also build a Beijing campus by 2008. CEIBS was the first business school in Chinese mainland to offer a full-time MBA, an Executive MBA and a wide array of executive education programmes. It is China's longest running school of management education. Widely recognised as the best business school in Asia, CEIBS stands as a showcase of the achievements of China's reform and opening up, and as a role model of successful co-operation between China and Europe. Since its establishment, the School has received tremendous support from the Chinese government as well as from the EU and its member states. In 2003, China's first EU Policy Paper specifically stated that "more work should be done with the China Europe International Business School to develop more top business professionals by enhancing and expanding academic and business exchanges at all levels.""CEIBS is one of the world's leading business schools, and focused on China.
