有关交通的词汇及对话，学生在之前已经有过不同程度的接触，学习起来应该不会很陌生。
至于语法方面，要学习形容词及副词的最高级，这是由第二、三模块的比较级衍生而来，学生相对比较容易掌握。
针对以上情况，在进行本单元教学设计时我从初二学生生理和心理特点，学习兴趣和生活经验出发，采用游戏、合作参与等多种有效的学习方法，通过操练使学生在掌握语言结构的同时，又能学习语言知识、感悟语言功能，同时培养学生对英语学习的兴趣及自主学习英语的能力。
