问：我的听力不太好，一直提高很慢。
我是不是应该先花一段时间背单词，提高单词量再说？
夕盛雅思：听力不好的原因是多方面的，包括听力词汇量、对于语速的反应能力、发音的标准与否等。
如果你希望考到雅思6分，应该至少具备3000词汇量。
需要提醒的是：单纯背单词是无法提高听力分数的。
需要在磁带播放的过程中来熟悉语音、背熟单词。
问：平常练习听力使用什么材料比较好？周围人都说BBC和VOA，但是我基本上都听不懂
夕盛雅思：练习雅思听力最好的材料就是剑桥真题1-7册的配套听力CD。
可以最快时间熟悉雅思听力的语音和语速。
BBC是英国口音，可以作为补充。
VOA是美国口音，雅思主要以英国口音为主，所以不推荐。
听不懂BBC或者VOA很正常，因为语速和单词量都是障碍。
而选择听剑桥CD就比较好，因为听不懂的时候可以查看听力原文，帮助理解。
所以，夕盛雅思不推荐在考试练习听力的时候就听没有听力原文的资料，那样不但听不懂，也会打击自己的自信心。
问：做阅读理解时，特别容易烦躁，做着做着就像把卷子撕了。
有什么办法解决呢？
夕盛雅思：首先，作为一个雅思老师，我很理解你的心情。
因为你非常反感做阅读题目，而主要原因很可能是阅读理解存在巨大困难。
第一个困难，也是最普遍的困难，在于单词量太少。
所以你需要花大量时间首先把自己的英语词汇量提高到3500个到4000个。
否则，阅读一定让你头痛。
第二个困难，在于你的阅读理解能力。
传统英语教学偏重语法，所以你会把注意力放在这方面。
而夕盛雅思认为：语法对于阅读并不重要，我们需要培养自己忽视语法理解，重视文章大意的习惯。
第三个问题，雅思阅读的题目类型很有特点，与国内考试的阅读以单项选择为主很不一样。

问：写作是套用模板好，还是不用好？听说阅卷老师看到模板给分就不超过5分，是真的吗？
夕盛雅思：写作的时候当然是不用模板好，因为当英国的阅卷老师看到千篇一律的作文的时候，一定非常的反感。
但是国内很多培训学校一直教模板，害得一些原本英语不错的考生在考试作文的时候没有体现真正的作文能力。
夕盛雅思认为：作文的本质是用来表达思想的，不是体现什么格式和技巧的。
忽视了作文的本质，追求形式漂亮一定是适得其反的事情。

问：夕盛雅思的口语教师是外教还是中教呢？

如果考生从提高自身英语实际能力角度来准备考试，2010年并没有什么可以担心的。
如果单纯研究考试有什么技巧或者捷径，那么就很可能感觉雅思很困难。
问：我9月考雅思，可是我的写作基本上什么都不会，特别是词汇量不行，我这段时间应该怎么复习比较好？
夕盛雅思：准备写作部分，要从以下几个方面来着手
1、词汇量，你需要准备2500个写作词汇。
2、阅读优秀的雅思范文，一般15-20篇就够了。
研究他们用词和造句有哪些特点。
3、阅读最近2年的作文考题，了解常考的作文话题。
4、练笔。
这是最重要的。
如果你只是做以上3件事情，不实际动笔写，那么一定作文糟糕。
建议每2天写一篇作文。
老师给你批改，找出问题，指出改进方向。
问：我觉得把剑一到剑七都做了时间不够了，我从直接做剑三做行么？
夕盛雅思：可以直接做剑桥3册。
但是你这种备考方法存在很大问题，做题目本身并不会提高你的雅思分数，只会让你更了解雅思考题类型而已。
建议你少做题，多研究错误产生的原因，比如单词量不够、听力缺少练习、口语没有对话等。
问：我是在上海的，有人说去偏远地区考分数会高一些，这种说法靠谱吗？
夕盛雅思：这种说法严重误导考生，试图这样做只能是满足投机取巧的心理而已，不会提高雅思成绩。
雅思考试的标准很难度全世界统一，在中国的各个地区当然也是统一的。
问：有的学校说他们的口语老师是雅思考官。
不是说考官不可以出来当培训老师吗？这种说法可信吗？
夕盛雅思：按照雅思考试的规定，考官的确是不可以出来当培训老师的，否则会失去考试的公平公正。
有些学校为了招揽学员，所以才这样宣传。
