二、教材分析
这一课的主要讲的是Kipper家来了一只小猫猫，大家都想让它走开，因为Floppy来了，大家担心小猫会和小狗Floppy打起来。小猫太小可能会被欺负，但是最终结果确是Floppy落荒而逃了。故事结尾很有戏剧性。

（2）放录音，全班学生齐声模仿跟读2-3遍。要求学生在理解故事内容的基础上，逐句跟录音指读。鼓励学生大胆开口，读出戏剧化效果，读出感情。
（3）放录音，请不同的学生分别模仿，看谁模仿得像。教师可让学生重点模仿以下两个句子的语音语调：Go away, little
cat. (升调)和 A dog is coming. (降调)。“Go away, little
cat.”是让小猫离开，使用了祈使语气；“A dog is coming.”是描述有只狗即将过来的客观事实，使用了陈述语气。模仿前，教师要先示范和指导。
4. 朗读故事（Reading aloud）：读懂故事并学会绘声绘色地独立朗读故事
通过多种形式的朗读，让学生能够绘声绘色地独立朗读故事，培养学生有感情朗读故事的习惯，练就语言基本功。
（1）全班集体朗读。组织全班学生齐声朗读一遍。
（2）分组朗读。学生两人一组，互相读给对方听，看谁读得准确、读得有感情。
