不能用于现在进行时的情况，有以下几种。
(1)表示存在状态的动词： be, remain 等。
如：汤姆是个好学生。
Tom is a good student.(√)Tom is being a good student.(×)(2)表示感官的动词： hear, see, taste, sound, notice, smell, seem 等。
如：这食物闻起来不错。
The food smells good.(√)The food is smelling good.(×)(3)表示喜欢、厌恶、感情、希望的动词： like, love, hate, prefer, need, want, wish, hope 等。
如：我想要一个书包和一个文具盒。
