浅谈英语课前三分钟演讲

《义务教育英语课程标准》强调突出学生在课堂中的主体地位，意味着教师要少讲，学生要多讲。
良好的开端是成功的一半，巧妙地利用课前三分钟，充分锻炼学生的演讲和表达能力，符合新课标的要求，有利于学生的全面发展。
虽然素质教育的口号已经喊了好多年，可目前的状况是学生“说”的训练仍不尽如人意，从教师的心态看，担心说会影响自己的教学进度，考试是笔试测验，种种因素造成很多学生是高分的“哑巴”英语。
笔试可以很高分，甚至个别同学达到满分，可张嘴说的时候就紧张、尴尬、语无伦次，笑脸通红、手心出汗。
还有一种情况是学生通过学习和练习可以对课文的内容流利地表达，可是随意地用英语自由交流的时候就不尽如人意，不能准确地表达自己的想法，除了，How are you？I’m fine，thank you. My name is...就不知道再说什么好。
课前三分钟虽然时间很短，可短短的三分钟却可以有效地训练学生的表达能力和演讲能力，从“我会写”变成“我能说”。
丰富多彩的课前三分钟，敲响了正式课堂的钟声，燃起了学生的热情，激发出学生的潜能，展现了学生的能力和美，促进了师生和生生的和谐关系。
一、课前三分钟演讲的好处
1.有效锻炼学生的胆量，提高学生的心理素质
学生有个性差异，有些学生外向好动，喜欢表达，平时话很多，表达得很自如，可一到关键时刻就语无伦次。
有些内向的学生，腼腆，不善表达，羞于表达，即使心中有答案，也难开尊口，特别是一些女生回答问题的声音低得像蚊子嗡嗡叫一样，脸红，心跳加速，每次回答问题就像上了一次刑，以后进入社会如何和别人竞争？为了避免将来的尴尬，现在就从课前三分钟的小演讲开始锻炼，壮大自己的内心，养成表达的习惯，树立表达的信心。
美国总统竞选都是通过一次次的竞演取得民众的支持，表达不完全是天生的，可以靠后天的训练达成，只要对自己充满信心，不断练习，最终都可以像总统那样表达自如。
2.增长知识，开阔眼界
学生日常获取英语知识多数是通过课堂老师的讲授，可是课堂时间有限，教师要完成教学内容，所以触及课外的知识就很少了，学生学会了知识，却不了解相关的背景和文化。
课前三分钟演讲为英语教学创造了一个生动活泼的环境，开辟了学生了解世界的窗口和大门，学生讲
述自己身边所见所闻，所听所感，使其他同学通过自己的演讲了解到课堂以外的丰富多彩的世界，对未来、对世界充满了好奇和期待，激发了学习动力。
3.增进学生感情和师生情谊
一个班级的几十个学生会因个性、兴趣爱好、学习好坏、身高体重等因素组成不同群体，日常的活动通常在自己的群里进行，群体之外的其他同学间的交流很少，课前三分钟的演讲可以展示自己，让更多的同学了解自己，也许就是一次演讲让平日没有交流的两个人增加了认识，促成一段日久天长的友谊；教师可以通过学生的演讲更深入地了解学生的兴趣爱好，关注角度，发现学生更多面。
短短的三分钟让师生、生生间更多地更深刻地认识彼此，增进友情，形成良好的班风和凝聚力。
4.提高听说读写能力
英语是一门语言学科，学生主要通过听、说、读、写实现对英语的掌握。
学生通过“听”和“读”接受语言，是一种接受性能力，而通过“说”和“写”来表达自己的语言能力和思想。
说和写这两种能力，“说”相对显得更加有利于交流和表达。
演讲的过程，可以锻炼思维，倾听他人演讲，学生学会了集中精神，全身心地投入才能听懂演讲内容，提高了听力水平；演讲更锻炼了语言表达能力，其实说也是写的过程，想说得好，前提必须写得好，写作过程要字句斟酌，将书面语言转变成听得懂的口语，对学生的写作能力是一种提升。
二、课前三分钟演讲的要求
1.全班参与
每一个学生都要参与其中，这是集体活动又是个人能力的展示。
活动开始肯定会有一些胆小的学生后退，不积极。
这时老师要积极地调动学生的情绪和参与度，善意地激发和引导学生的热情。
班级中一些性格开朗的、乐于参与活动的有胆量的孩子可以允许他们主动申请。
老师可以提供一些演讲题目作为参考，更要鼓励学生自主选择演讲的题目和内容。
形式灵活多样，可以讲小故事、名人名言、笑话、谚语、新闻甚至是唱一首英文歌曲，让学生自我展示，找到自信，敢于表达，最后做到对三分钟的表达每天都有期待。
全班准备一个小盒子，里面放进写有学生英文名字的纸条，由上一位讲过的学生随机抽取下一个演讲同学的名单，公平公正，又充满不确定性，刺激好玩，又可保证全班的参与度。
每次演讲后教师和学生对本次演讲同学的表现进行客观的点评，帮助他下一次演讲得更出色。
2.演讲语言规范，肢体美
语言是一种声音和肢体结合的表达，有些学生口语中含有浓重的方言或者日常口语习惯，在演讲过程中由于紧张或者准备不够充分，造成结巴，双手撑桌子，低头弯腰，东瞅西望看天
花板等不美观的肢体，这些行为教师要做到及时纠正指导，在演讲开始前就提出要求，避免发生。
3.掌控好时间
教学时间有限，演讲的好处虽然多，可也不能占用太多的教学时间。
学生在准备演讲得前，要选择恰当的演讲内容、做好取舍，适当删减内容，甚至可以将演讲内容像连续剧一样分次展示，让老师和同学对下一次的演讲内容充满期待。
时间的限制要求学生必须事先整理好演讲内容，不打无准备之仗，克服学生的眼高手低的毛病，学生上台后需要脱稿，不能带稿演讲，但稿子可以放在第一排学生手中，为避免紧张中断起到提示作用。
教师可以本人或者安排同学将演讲稿集合起来，编辑成册，以做记录和纪念。
课前三分钟的演讲是一个滴水成河的积累，是一个厚积薄发的英语学习的辅助手段，符合新课标和素质教育的要求，长久地坚持下去，学生不仅能积累丰富的课外知识，提高表达能力和心理素质，更能树立自信，发展个性，有利于学生自我教育、自我发展、自我完善，最终实现英语能力和素养的升华。
