统计了在过去的5年中，中国石油研究论文主要发表的国外SCI期刊;统计并分析了以中国石油大学（北京）石油工程学院为代表的国内石油行业科研人员发表的国外SCI收录期刊，和以英国最著名的两个石油院校为代表的国外石油行业科研人员发表的SCI收录期刊。
研究结果对我国石油工程专业的研究人员具有借鉴意义。
[关键词]石油工程;科学引文索引;国外期刊;影响因子[中图分类号] G255.2 [文献标识码] A [文章编号]2095-3437（2016）01-0029-02一、SCI与JCR简介科学引文索引（SCI）是由美国科技情报所（ISI）编辑出版的对科技期刊和论文进行评价的一种重要工具[1]。
1963年美国SCI诞生时，其创始人加菲尔德（E.Carfield）仅仅是为了向人们提供一种更新颖、更独特的文献检索工具。
其后，以普赖斯（D.J.Prece）为代表的科学计量学家将SCI用于科学活动规律的研究，并逐渐发展成为国际权威性的科学技术评价工具。
ISI每年出版JCR（《期刊引用报告》，全称JournalCitation Reports）。
JCR对包括SCI收录的全部期刊之间的引用和被引用数据进行统计、运算，并针对每种期刊定义了影响因子（Impact Factor）等指数加以报道[2]。
目前SCI收录的核心期刊（光盘版）有3800种，扩展库（网络版）有8000多种期刊。
SCI库的期刊质量和影响力存在很大差距，尤其是不同学科之间的SCI期刊，很难进行比较和评价。
SCI库中的期刊在查找上也存在着困难，有个别期刊在归属学科上判法可能不一致，有的在传统认识上的学科找不到时，不得不按期刊名查找。
为了更科学地对学术期刊进行评价，对科研人员的工作业绩进行合理考核，中国科学院文献情报中心组织相关学科资深专家，将JCR公布的8000余种期刊分为13大类，在每一类期刊中根据期刊的影响因子及被引频率等指标划分为4个区的分区表，期刊档次由高到低排列，其中第1区期刊加上第2区少量期刊，被界定为顶级刊物。

1、CSCD是Chinese Science Citation Database的简称，也就是《中国科学引文数据库》，CSCD是中国科学引文数据库的英文缩写，CSCD在高校申请基金和审查评奖包括院士的评审都要检索CSCD;CSCD中分为核心库和扩展库，其中核心库的杂志等级略高些(相对而言)，但是这3类杂志有交叉，比如一军大学报既是CSCD核心期刊，也是中文医学核心期刊。
2、中文核心期刊就是我们平常说的核心期刊，是北大出版的《中文核心期刊要目总览》所收录的期刊，每4年公布一次，2012年有更新。
3、中国科技核心期刊是中国科技术信息研究所统计源期刊，又称中国科技核心期刊。
