本单元主要学习了情态动词表示推测的用法，学生容易把弄混的就是情态动词表示不同含义时的用法区别，所以我通过以下方式教授这一单元的课程：
1.在热身环节中，我通过歌曲、游戏形式将学生的思绪一下子就从上一节课和课间活动中引入到英语课堂学习中来，学生学习英语的情绪被调动起来。
2.学生喜欢宽松的课堂“自由”，教师不妨多多的“放纵”，给学生更大的自由想象和发挥的空间，让学生的个性得到充分的伸展。
游戏教学、情境教学给了学生很多的自由空气，使他们能够从英语活动中享受到乐趣，并使这种乐趣得以巩固、保留，成为一种需要。
3.课前准备充分。
在备课时，不能完全按照教师的主观来进行，应从孩子的生活现实中发掘他们的生活经验，使他们更有亲切感，从而增强他们的兴趣。
但是仍然存在一些需要改进的地方：
（一）在课堂上需要加强学生学习技能与技巧的培养。
记得我国著名的教育家陶行知先生曾经说过：“好的先生不是教书，而是教学生学。
”新课程强调，教的最优化必须要落实到学的最优化上，做到教为主导，学为主体，因此，在今后的教学中我要时刻注意指导学生掌握科学的学习方法。
（二）上课激情不够，“一个没有激情的教师，难以创
设充满激情的课堂；一个没有激情的课堂，难以引导学生充满激情地学习。
”在这个方面，我需要继续努力，向“大家”学习。
通过认真的反思，我深刻体会到，在教学中我们应该有一种前瞻的眼光，平时要多注意学习方法的指导，学习策略的培养，应该挖掘更深层次的激发学生学习兴趣的方法，从提高学生“内力”上下功夫，由单纯的知识性向综合的能力性过渡。
只有这样，我们的课堂才有生命力，教学才有实效。

二、教材分析本单元开始以野餐中谈论对事物的推测为话题引入本单元的教学重点：情态动词表推测。
情态动词是一种重要的词法，只有掌握好它，才能更好的进行交际和阅读。
本单元通过学习用相关信息对物主的推测来提高学生的逻辑思维能力和推断能力。
教学重点：情态动词must, can’t, may, might, could表推测。
教学难点：如何灵活运用must, can’t, may, might, could表推测。
三、学情分析通过初中两年的英语学习，大多数学生已能听懂有关熟悉话题的语段和简短的故事，能就熟悉的话题交换信息，能读懂短篇故事，能写便条和简单的书信。
但由于各种因素的影响，学生发展参差不齐。
少数学生因为基础不够好，学习很吃力而自暴自弃，学生两级分化严重，每节授课内容不宜过多，用多种教学手段充分调动学生的学习兴趣。
四、教学策略采用任务型语言教学，实施情境教学法、小组合作探究法、情感激励法。
