I went to Qingdao with my family this morning. Today it was very sunny and hot. So we decided to go to the beach. There were too many people there. Some people swam in the sea, and others lay(躺）on the beach to enjoy the sunshine(阳光). We had a good time there and took quite a few photos. I also went to gift shops to buy something for my friends. For lunch, we ate some sea food. I think it was delicious. Then we rode bicycles to our hotel. I really enjoyed walking around the city. I wondered what life was like there in the past.
What an interesting day! I want to go there again.
My vacation to Beijing
Last summer, I went to Beijing on vacation with my father. It was sunny and hot. First we visited the Great Wall. It is really the longest wall in the world. There were a lot of people there. The next day, we visited the Palace Museum and Tian’anmen Square. We took many photos there. We also visited some other interesting places(名胜古迹) in Beijing such as a Beijing hutong and Beihai Park. We had a great time in Beijng.
I hope to go there again.

It is important for us to keep healthy. But how can we keep healthy? Here is my advice.
Firstly, good eating habits are the best way to keep healthy. For example, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Besides, eating more fruit and vegetables every day is good to our health.
Secondly, we should do more exercise, such as running and playing basketball. Although it can’t take us too much time, it is healthy for our mind and body. Besides, when we play together, we can spend time with our friends happily.
Thirdly, we should learn to relax. Reading is a good way to make you feel relaxed. Besides, we can learn something new by reading.
If we do these, we can keep healthy.
Mary’s best friend is Lucy.
In some ways, Mary is similar to Lucy.Both Mary and Lucy are tall. Mary is as popular as Lucy. And they are both outgoing. However, they are different in some ways. In this article, I will share some of my experiences and reflections from the first five units of my eighth-grade English class.In Unit 1, we focused on introducing ourselves and talking about our daily routines. One of the most interesting activities we did was creating a personal timetable. We had to list all our activities from Monday to Sunday and describe what we do during each time slot. It was a great way to practice our vocabulary and improve our writing skills. Through this activity, I learned how to effectively organize my time and prioritize my tasks.Unit 2 was all about food and healthy habits. We learned about different types of food, their nutritional value, and the importance of maintaining a balanced diet. As part of our class project, we had to create a healthy meal plan for a week. This activity not only helped us understand the significance of healthy eating but also encouraged us to make better food choices in our daily lives. I realized that eating nutritious meals not only keeps us physically fit but also improves our concentration and overall well-being.Moving on to Unit 3, we explored the topic of hobbies and interests. This unit was particularly enjoyable for me as I got to learn about my classmates' passions and discover new hobbies myself. We had to write a short essay about our favorite hobby and present it to the class. It was fascinating to see the diverse range of interests among my peers, from playing musical instruments to painting and even coding. This unit taught me the importance of pursuing our passions and finding joy in our hobbies.Unit 4 focused on travel and different cultures. We learned about famous landmarks, traditional customs, and the significance of cultural diversity. One of the highlights of this unit was a group project where we had to create a travel brochure for a country of our choice. I chose Japan and was amazed by the rich culture and history of the country.Through this project, I not only improved my research and presentation skills but also developed a greater appreciation for the world's diverse cultures.Lastly, in Unit 5, we delved into the topic of environmental protection and sustainability. We learned about the impact of human activities on the environment and discussed ways to reduce our carbon footprint. As part of a class campaign, we organized a recycling drive and encouraged our school community to actively participate in recycling efforts. This unit made me realize the importance of taking responsibility for our actions and making conscious choices to protect our planet.In conclusion, the first five units of my eighth-grade English class have been a valuable learning experience. From managing my time effectively to making healthier food choices, pursuing my hobbies, appreciating different cultures, and taking steps towards environmental sustainability, these units have provided me with essential life skills and knowledge.
