It is therefore urgent for us to work out some constructive strategies.4)MethodologyThe information of this report is mainly gathered from 300 college students through online surveys and questionnaires. Some supporting and background data are from the Internet.5)ScopeThis report investigates college students’ attitude towards Q-Zone, its advantages and disadvantages, and their expected prices of the special functions of Q-Zone.2.Findings2.1 Great potential on the Internet2.1.1 The Huge Amount of Time that Students Spend on the CyberspaceWith the development of the Internet, more and more young people at home and abroad are very fond of using the Cyberspace in recent years. Meanwhile, they are also willing to spend a great amount of time on it. According to the research, 98% of the surveyed have opened and used Cyberspace such as Q-zone, or other blogs, and more than 60% of them use the Cyberspace very often, even every day.2.1.2 Multitudes of People Using QQAccording to , the number of QQ’s registered users is up to 420 million nowadays. Since Q-zone is bound to Tencent QQ, it is very easy for people to know it and use it. In our research, 89.81% of the surveyed have been using Q-zone and still 0.49% of them intend to use it though they have not yet opened theirs. So the universal usage of Tencent QQ has contributed to the increased use of Q-zone.2.2Q-zone’s Advantages2.2.1Clicking Convenience and the Quick Notice of Q-zone MovementSince Q-zone is trussed up with Tencent QQ, people can be conveniently connected to their Q-zone once they login their QQ account. Moreover, QQ has the function of informing you immediately if someone leaves a message on your Q-zone. And still you can know your friends’ Q-zone movement very quickly thanks to the QQ’s announcement. In accordance with the investigations, 74.76% of the surveyed regard the “Clicking Convenience and the Quick Notice of Q-zone M ovement”, which is the most outstanding characteristics that any other Cyberspace doesn’t own, as the strongest point of Q-zone. So it is essential to maintain this function and further improve it. As “WritingJournal” provides users with space of writing their daily feelings or stories on the Internet, it enables people to kn ow their good friends’ recent situation and life. Furthermore, many people seem to be willing to spend a lot of time renewing their logs or viewing others journals. That is main reason why the hits of Q-zone are so high.(B) Add-on Functions optimize the main functionsQ-zone’s add-on functions include the “Multiple Choices of the Stationery in the Journal”, the ” Cultivating Plants or Raising A nimals”, “Decorating the Background of Q-zone”, “Security Permissions” and “Customizing the Format of Q-zone”. T he data shows that 58.5% of the surveyed are satisfied with the stationery, which is a good way beautifying the journal. 48.5% of the users express their love of decorating the background for it can show their personality and 33.9% prefer the “Security Permissions”. Though small, the add-on functions still have an effect on attracting more people to use Q-zone.2.3 Disadvantages—factors that will probably cause the reduction of Q-zone users2.3.1PriceExcept the basic functions such as “writing journals", and “upload ing a limited amount of photos”, Q-zone charges for the some extra functions.There are2 kinds of fee charging. On the one hand, you can become a “Yellow DiamondNoble” and enjoy almost all functions by paying 10 Yuan per month. On the other hand, you can pay for the specific function which can only be preserved for several months. Most of the Q-zone’s functions can be found in blogs or . .Even though those in Q-zone are in better quality, users think theyaren ’t worth that much. According to our research, only 3.4% respondents thought the fee charged of Q-zone is acceptable. More than 60% thought it was unreasonable. And 32% said they won’t pay the fee anyway. Please look at the following chart.The VIP service is the most special part of Q-zone compared with other cyberspaces. But only 11% of the users choose this service. The cardinal reason is high charges. Most of the respondents thought it acceptable to be charged for 4-6 Yuan per month.2.3.2Other disadvantagesBesides the price, investigated users thought that Q-zone had the following drawbacks: low speed of uploading photos, limited space for storing photos, and inconvenient operation. 6.3% of users thought there were other drawbacks despite those mentioned above.3. ConclusionThe above findings show that Q-zone has a great potential amongyoung Users’ attitude towards the Pricegenerations, and it has lots of advantages attracting more users. But there are also several disadvantages, especially the high charges, which prevent more people from using Q-zone.So it is necessary for Q-zone to lower the prices, improve the uploading speed, enlarge the storage space of photos, and make the operations more convenient. In order to compete with othercyberspaces, Q-zone should simultaneously try its best to keep its advantages.4. RecommendationsCompetition is fierce. Only by vigorous measures to improve Q-zone’s own competitive performance and by adding higher value to what they do can Q-zone keep its advantages.4.1 Strengthen Q-zone’s strong points.4.1. 1 Maintain the qualified service of “Journal W riting”Tencent should maintain the qualified service that “Journal Writing” owns, including putting out journal at a high speed, offering more flashing fonts, ensuring the high quality of illustrations etc. Meanwhile, its additional functions also need to be reinforced. The research and development activity done has been a success as Toyota is now able to produce a customer car in five days. In addition, Toyota is also able to produce a commercially viable hybrid car, with this two newly found strategies, Toyota has continued to revolutionize the auto industry. (Y. Arayici, P. Coates, , 2011)In Toyota’s management process, with Toyota’s production system (TPS), all work are done according to schedule, employees follow a well-defined sequence of steps for a particular job, this shows that every employeefollows he rules and this reflects that Toyota’s management team has done a good job in managing the employees. Welltrained employees are more committed to their jobs and indirectly, it will help to boost the pr oduction volume. (João-P. B., 2011)Weaknesses: in year 2008-2009, the global financial crisis bring a great impact to Toyota’s sales income, with the weak and slow-moving economic around the world, hardly enable for Toyota to abstain a higher profit-margin as to compared to recent years, the closing of some of its plants in China proves that Toyota’s financial or liquidity state unable to support its explanation of production in other countries like China. Therefore, it would be a weakness for Toyota during the global economic crisis whereby losses of closing its plant and the cost of construction shall be bared by Toyota which naturally caused the corporation’s liquidity to fall. . Toyota makes itself fully understand its current state of affairs and also the norms before planning for improvements, this is important, and needed to be done beforehand because by implementing the wrong plan or plan that contradicts, with the culture of either party (the company itself orthe market), the market may be turned off and lose interest as well as confidence towards Toyota. (Donna A., 2010)With the advancement of technology, the pathway of Toyota’s product and services has become simpler and simpler. Technology has enable Toyota to have more use-friendly machines which in turn benefits the production line at Toyota, production line in Toyota can be set up so easily in now days, and has nor fail to follow the specified path, indirectly, it will boost the efficiency level in production department, and thus, more products can be produced in the same period as the time before more advanced machines were brought in. (Chuck W., 2008)Threats: Looking at the buying pattern of today’s people, this kind of consumption becomes more and more less, and this is due to the current situation faced by people during recession. At this point of time where economy is not doing quite well though improving, people tend to save more money for rainy days. (Patrick V., Stijn H., 2010) As a result, people send lesson their wants, Toyota should fell the impact of session because people now spend less and they are not willing to spend thousands of money just buy a car when they already have one. As an effect, Toyota’s sales figure will drop while all other fixed cost such as utilities expenses, floor rent, etc. are needed to be paid, if this is to be continue for a long time, most of the Toyota’s factories may be closed down. (Nabyla D., 2011)RecommendationAs the largest automobile manufacturing company, Toyota attracted in the world-wide attention, Toyota’s any decision may become the focus, no matter the strengths, weaknesses or the opportunities and threats, Toyota was staring at by the medias all over the world, because Toyota is the first. K., 2006) To continuous maintain the first position is a big challenge for the company itself, increasing cost of raw materials and workers, emerging new technologies, Increasing competitors and so on, all these lead the first position is not forever.
