It+be+时间+before/since/when/that句型辨析I since1. 翻译“It is/has been+时间段+since从句”(1)当从句谓语动词为非延续性动词时，表示这段时间从该动作开始时算起，即“自从做……以来已经多久了”。
(2)当从句谓语动词为延续性动词时，表示这段时间从动作结束时算起，即“自从不做……以来已经多久了”。

(从他不再是士兵算起)2. 时态主句为现在时（一般或完成），从句都是一般过去时。

如：It is 17 years since Hongkong returned to China.
香港回归已经有17年了。
在“It’s +时间段+ since从句” 句型中，如果since从句的谓语动 词是瞬间性动词，表示肯定意义； 如果since从句的谓语动词是延续
了多长时间之后才……” 例： It was long before they found their son. 过了很久他们才找到他们的儿子。
② 若主句是否定形式，翻译成 “没过多久就……” 例：
It was not long before the couple met again. 没过多久这对夫妻就见面了。
分析：since从句中的系表结构表示 一种状态，这种状态是延续性的， 表示否定意义，译为“不是，不当”
注：时间的计算一律从since从句 的动作完成或状态结束时算起。

问题是，第一句中为什么会那样翻译？简单从字面上理解应该是“我已经住那5年了。

我所知道的关于这个句型的内如是：
当动词为非延续意义的时候，句子意思为“自从……已经一段时间了”
当动词为延续性意义的时候，句子意思为“……已经不发生一段时
间了。

4. “It be +时间点+when…”表示“当……时，时间是……”。

II .before.
1.It was/will be+ 时间段+before... 过多长时间将发生某动作或事情；或过 了多久发生了某事或动作。

2.It won't be/take long before... 不久就会… eg:It won't be long before he finishes the work. 作.
III when.
when 没有固定与It is …连用的句型.when 可表示时间点或时间段，因此从句 中短暂性动词或延续性动词均可用 .when 还可作并列连词，表示突然发生一个 动作, 等于 and at that time. 常用句型 :
1 主语 +was/were doing whe n...
2 主语 +was/were about to do whe n...

我在试题讲解的过程中设计了以下几个小题，
让学生去分析，整理，归纳，效果很好。

「答案与解析」
1、2 两个小题都选A. 第一题意为：两年后他才得知真相。
第二题意为：经济形式要等两年后才会有所好转。
「归纳」It was/ will be + 一段时间+before+ 句子是高考一个重要考点。
意为：多久之后
才……
要注意：It will be + 一段时间+before+ 句子，before 引导的是一个时间状语从句，所以后面的从句要用一般现在时态表将来。
3. D此题为强调句型。
把It was…tha去掉后，句子仍然成立：He realized the truth two years later.
4. C 本句意为：他不住在这儿已经两年了。
「归纳」为since 意为自从某时或某事发生以来，故since 后从句时，从句的时态应用一般过去时态，而主句应用现在完成时态。
如表示某某事发生多久了，则用：It is/ has been+一段时间+si nce+从句。
「注意」It is/ has bee n+—段时间+since+从句。
在本结构中，从句的谓语动词如为延续性
动词时，翻译时要从动作结束时算起。
5. B 本句为定语从句，先行词为midnight ，在从句中作状语。
要注意与第 6 小题的区
别，第6 题为强调句型，故答案应为that.
6. D 再看下面两题：
(1) It was the park __________ he first met his wife.
(2) It was in this park ________ he first met his wife.第一题答案应为where，为定语从
句；第二题答案为that，为强调句型。
7. D本题亦为强调句型结构：It was notun til …意为：•直到才................。
