一、教材分析：
1、教学内容
本课是第四单元第一话题中SectionA的第一课时，教学内容有Activity2，完成形容词比较级的一张表格和根据图片描述农场动物的特点。
Activity1，根据小对话填空。
主要功能是引用比较级谈谈过去现在的变化，呼吁要保护环境。
2、教材的地位与作用
本单元的三个话题紧紧围绕当今世界的环境、科技和文化这三大主题展开。
本课是第一话题“Plantsandanimalsareimportanttous.”的第一部分。
本单元主要，是了解及掌握形容词比较级和最高级的变化规则及其用法，和通过谈论大自然的美丽风光，增强学生对自然的热爱和提高他们保护自然的意识
